Remarks
The food provided is vegetarian all over the college although non-vegetarian is available outside the college.The food is good enough in most of the hostels.But it does not cause any harm to the body.
Course Curriculum Overview
course curriculum is very fair. we keep continous internal assessment almost for a month and the curriculum is almost divided to 8 semesters.The final semester exam is held and the grade obtained is given after a month.
Placement Experience
The placements here are to the par with most of the colleges nationally.Also the CSE ECE and MECHANICAL have the highest placements as such. These placements are multidisciplinary and also there are veey high packages based on the student.
College Events
There are about 3 main events that are celebrated in the college every year grandly.They are the glory to the college.One is a sports fest in which almost many colleges come and participate in the event.The second one is a technical fest in which all the department people are able to show their academic excellence and projects also from different colleges.The other one is a cultural fest in which people with many special talents expose themselves also people with a great talent are called up at that event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure here is almost very very afffordable to a person interested to study from a middle class.It costs around 1.5 lakh per year which is very low as compared to other colleges at this level of placements,education,etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many scholarships available from the college and some of them are given when the child maintains good attendance,good grades,good behaviour etc. The college has a few banks in it through which one can apply for loan.There is a great thing in sastra that if a child loses his or her parents or the torch bearer of his familywhile in college then the college lets them to graduate from the college without any fee.
Campus Life
There are many labs available in sastra through which one can do research and also many research activities go on in which one could participate and gain some knowledge.The sports activities are very good and all the sports grounds like cricket,tennis,badminton,basketball,footballand many as such and we also have a gym and indoor sports hall.We alaso have many many clubs in sastra
Hostel Facilities
The hostel allotes here is good and never try to expect AC from it.Because sastra has the motto to bring up the student in such a way that he or she can stay anywhere in the world if he lives in sastra.students learn a lot of things which they would face in future and how to handle them.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are very friendly to many.There is no such type of ragging or such in any of the college places and yhey guide many of their juniors in a great mannner.We could say that they are the back bone for many of them in college.The alumni also guide the students ro excel in their life
Admission
I got admission on merit list prepared based on the +2 marks and JEE mains score there will be counselling rounds based on the rank in the merit list which was obtained the specific seats available will be shown and the student needs to select it.
Faculty
The faculty here are trained very well.They all cone from IIT and Ph.d graduates and very skillfull people. They are ready to clear doubts any time also help us in any type of extra academic help personally.
