Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course Curriculum at Isbr os one of its strongest points being both highly relevant and comprehensive a key factor that influenced my decision was its shrp focus on industry needs Regarding subjects and examination we foloow a trimester with end sem for about 5-6 subjects each term the difficulty level is moderate they are designed to test your understanding and application of concepts rather than just memory

Internships Opportunities

5

The internship opportunities at isbr are excellent and an integral part of the PGDM program the college has a dedicated placement cell that works tirelessly to bring in a wide range of companies for a summer internship program company's rules and stipend A diverse set of companies like grant Thompson bial hunger box and various startup recruits from campus the roles offer a meaningful and aligned with our specialization such as market research analyst financial analyst HR generalist intern and sales and marketing intern

Placement Experience

5

the placement at ISBR is quite robust which is main draw for students company's visit the campus every year for our batch prominent recruiters included Deloitte PwC KPMG EY Morgan Stanley these companies collectively made a significant number of offers across different specialization like finance marketing jar and operations regarding the packages the figures are very encouraging the highest domestic package offered was around 14 LPA the average package consistently overs between 7.5 LPA 28.5 LPA college proposed A placement percentage of over 95% and from personal observation nearly every student who actively participated in the process and was well prepared secured a good job

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees structure for ISBR Business School, Bangalore (2025-26), varies by program and specilization .The total course fee structure for the MBA and PGDM program ranges between 10lakhs and 11lakhs for the full duration. Scholarships are on merit based, sports, domicile, need based. are aviliable but are highly competitive with most waivers awarded or significant achievement criteria like high board scores or top entrance test percentile. there is evidence that the fee structure has been seen slightly increase in recent years, following a general trend of upward revision at private management

Campus Life

5

Campus life at ISBR is vibrant and engaging offering a perfect balance between academics and extra curriculum the social environment is very welcoming with a diverse student body from all over the country like best and events infrastructure sports and extracurriculum students run clubs student life is largely driven by various clubs and committee for every specialization like marketing finance HR and operations and the main entrepreneurship cell these clubs organise workshop S lecture from industry leaders and competition throughout the year providing a great platform for practical learning and networking they are the heart of the student committee on campus

Admission

Choosing ISBR was a strategic decision after carefully evaluating my career goals against another colleges offered. i applied for welingkar mumbai , bangalore christ university . While i didnt make a final cut for welingkar mumbai likely due to a highly competitive cat percentile i choose ISBR over the other for three main reasons 1. location advantage and industry connect 2. return on investment 3. specialized curriculum

Faculty

4

ISBR Business School presents a dynamic academic environment with a focus on industry-relevant curriculum and a generally approachable faculty. Students experience and available information paint a comprehensive picture of life. the estimated range of 1:12 to 1:15. This allows for personalized attention and closer interaction between students and their professors. the faculty is largely described as friendly, helpful professors like VV.Rao, Prabhakar sir, have been specifically commended for their teaching and mentorship for the PGDM program a clear marketing scheme is in place with a 70/30 weightage given to continoues assessment and final examination the continuous assesment includes class test, presentation, class disscussion ,mini projects

Interview Experience

4

Yes after being shortlist based on my entrance score I had to go through a comprehensive selection process which includes group discussion and personal interview group discussion the GD was the first round my group had about 10 candidates and the topic given to us was "is a gig economy a sustainable career path for India's youth" the moderators were looking for ability to calculate thoughts clearly listen to others and contribute meaningfully to the discussion talking about the personal interview API was of 191 around with two senior faculty members it was a the Pi was a ONE ON ONE around with two senior faculty members it was a tough conversation that covered my entire profile

Night Life

5

In and around the isbr campuses offer a good mix of experience though it's more relaxed compared to the bursting nightlife of central Bangalore since the academic schedule is quite rigorous I like lot of student life happens within the campus itself campus timing and facilities the campus cafeteria is the main hub for student stay open till around 10:00 PM the library which is very great place for quite work usually closes by 8:00 PM key point to note is to hostel in time which is around 10:30 PM for boys and girls so nightlife plans outside the campus need to be managed accounting talking about the safety the locality of electronic city is generally very safe to roam around even at night due to heavy corporate presence and security patrols however like in many major city it's always advisable to be cautious and stay in Group then out late overall experience is that you have enough option nearby to destress while bigger plans for area like koramangala or indiranagar are safe for the we

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
