Remarks
The college is very famous and very old. It offers many streams with various subjects combinations. But the college campus is not good enough. NAAC visited and gave it B++ rating. It should be well improved and well maintained.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course i applied for is B.Sc 3 years degree course under UGC. Each of the years there are 200 marks for 2 papers each paper contains 100 marks and also some papers are devided into 2 parts i.e. Theory and Practical. I think this exam procedure is very conflicted and takes too much times.
Placement Experience
This Is a General Graduation college under West Bengal State University. It offers UG and also PG in some subjects. But sorry to say it can't offer any type of job opportunities and internships. But the college authority recently launched a placement cell but not in used.
College Events
In our collection there are so many festival season celebrated such as Independence Day, teacher's day, college freshers, departmental freshers , republic day, and many more. All the students get participate and enjoy the program.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible. It allows 2times payment in a year. Fully computerized software maintained fee collection system. But the Online payment facilities is not available yet. It must be improved.
Fees and Financial Aid
No there aren't any loan or scholarship scheme available yet. If it happens then it will be great for those meritorious students and the students from the poor economical background for their education costs.
Campus Life
The College labs are moderately decorated maximum relivent instruments are available in the Departmental lab. In sports and culture, there are so many events in the college annual meeting and function. The students and the teachers also takes part on this occasion and celebrate together.
Alumni/Alumna
Sometimes they contact us in the occasion such as 5th September,Teachers Day ; college Freshers, Departmental Freshers. And some senior students contact us often. The communicate us and gave us suggestions and shared their educational experience with us.
Admission
After completing H.S. I filled up the Admission Form on specific college . Then merit list got published on the basis of merit score and i got found my name on that chart. Then the college gave a Date to pay the admission Fee and hence i get admitted on this college.
Faculty
Very Good. All the teachers are well educated and they treat us like a family member. They help us when ever we faces any problems. We are like a family. The behaviour and the process of learning are polite very comfortable.
