The college has very eco-friendly campus. The campus is full of trees. A positive energy could be get if we sit in the benches under those trees. What a lovely campus.! The college is under the guidance of the diocese of palai the assistance from the side of diocese is also remarkable one.

The course is 3 year degree course consisting of six semesters. The exams were conducted as per the question paper and rules and guide lines of Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam. Each year consists of two semesters apart from university exams model exams and internals were conducted by the college.

The college provides placements and job opportunities and also training for attending interviews. Currently college does not provide any internship programmes to whole departments, but it is available to certain departments such as BCA, Communicative English etc. As per the coaching sections given by the college faculty i was able to get a good job at Tata Consultancy Services.

In the college there are lots of department fests and celebrations like Onam celebration, Xmas celebration college youth festival etc and fests like Com arena, com nox, tecterain etc. Students gets lots of opportunities to grow there inbuilt talents through the programmes.

As the college is aided the fees are as per government norms.yearly about 1500 rupees is bought as fees. So many scholarships are provided to the students to reduce expenses of feeses. The fees structure can be so said to be feasible as the feeses are very less.

KPCR was a notable scholarship scheme provided to students by which students from low income family are excluded from tuition fees. Certain scholarships like Central sector scholarship, post metric scholarship etc were also available for the students.

The college offers a good indoor stadium where kabbadi, volleyball, badminton etc can be played and Olympic model swimming pool where students can swim. College also has good lab facilities for science students and computer center for all students.

The college has a good alumni. They are very helpful in organizing activities for overall development of the students. They provides placement training to the students. The alumini network is very much helpful to students.

I got the admission through the Mahatma Gandhi University central allotment process (ugcap). Which is the process by which admissions are provided to students to the affiliated colleges to the Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam.

In my opinion the faculty of st Thomas college is amazing.All the lecturers of the college were selected as per the norms of university grands commission. The faculty members are so loving and caring. The rapport between the faculty and students is a notable thing.
