Likes
- Of all the things that our campus has I think it's the library building which is the most amazing one.
- In all there are 6 buildings in the main campus and one on the tech campus and all of them are high class.
- We are taken to various places for practicals of our subjects.
Dislikes
- Classes are less and course is lengthy and I think this should change.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was easy to decide this course as it was my personal interest. So even if struggle I wanted to do it in the field I love the most. Our course is not that tough or hard or even vast to complain about. Also, I am pursuing another course because our university has given us permission and plus because only 3 days of the week we have to go to the college we have ample time.
Placement Experience
In GEU one can check the placements of each department they are solid as ever. I have no doubt that we will be placed best as currently we are the first batch of Aeronautics but I am certain that companies related to it be it HAL, BEL or others will come for placements and will hire rare students like us.
Fees and Financial Aid
GEU fees for BSC in Aeronautics is 2,75,000 a year and it was 2,50,000 last year and might be 3 lakhs in the final year. Also an advance admission charges of around 50k were paid and scholarships were only for students of Uttarakhand and therefore I couldn't get any.
Campus Life
Sports is the only grey area of our university as otherwise from hostels to academic buildings everything is of global universities level. Infrastructure is the most important or pivotal thing of any college or university and GEU has taken complete care of it. So, for that thumbs up to them. Evsn fests and events are of highest stature in GEU.
Hostel Facilities
Our hostel room is super cool as two girls and furniture is set is a piece for one. So, it is cool and hostel night life is amazing as well. So I have live the time of of my life at Marina Girls Hostel of Graphic Era University. However food is something which I haven't enjoyed.
Admission
UAIT was my parents choice but it more of an aviation program whole at GEU it is different and one which suited what I needed to learn. Also, admission were a cakewalk here because I hardly tried and just applied online and I was called upon the university for verifying my credentials. Once that was done admission letter with fees structure was handed and counsellor guided us thoroughly to make admission like going to a restaurant for dinner.
Faculty
Professors of any branch of DU are handpicked it looks like. I have friends in various other branches too and everyone says the same. We are lucky to be guided by somebody who have such great experience behind their back and are also best in when comes to know physics as that's the core of our course.
Night Life
Our college maybe in outskirts but Clement Town now has become the heartthrob as there are a lot of cafes and even a 24*7 shop is now opened since last two years. So, we have everything in our university locality to make night life as amazing as it is.
