Likes
- The main thing that i have liked about the college is college life and its atmosphere..You will find it very good if talking about fests and also you will find competitive students among us academically or in sports or in any field.all sports approx
- if i talk about the academics and the study culture of the college it is based on aktu syllabus..supportive faculty will be provided to the students by the college but to be honest you have to prepare yourself for any test or for the academics.
- The another thing is infrastructure..it is quite good as the private college situated in greater noida...if you consider this it is well enough for the students..
Dislikes
- For study perspective more theoretical than practical..means as like you are in school.
- Some classrooms may not be ac centralized...but can be installed by complaing to the college.
- IN my opinion the curriculum or the method of study is not good.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose electroniccs and communication engineerig.. as per my interest as i liked semiconductors like stuff...if i talk about its curricullum..in the 1st year all stuudents will be taught same syllabus..but after the 2nd year your specialized subject will be taught to you like electronics as major.
Internships Opportunities
As I am currently joined and in my 1st year..so i have not yet applied for any internship.But its totally upon the students...you should not be rely on the college for the internship or placement..okay thats my opinion.
Placement Experience
From 4th year students are eligible for college placement..but students are free to do their own internship or other job.The average placement is nearly 5 lpa..but its upon the students skills that how far they can go.Highest also vary branch to branch.
Fees and Financial Aid
Hello everyone.The total tuition fees for galgotias college of engineering and technology is 115603 including the 1000 registration fees and 5000 one time payment at the time of admission...so from after 2nd year you have to pay 109603 only. And if you got admission in fee waiver {fw} quota through uptac counselling the only tuition fees will not to be paid...you have to pay 6000 only to the institute in 1st year. and also scholarship wil be provided to the students bu up govt which is approx 55-60k and fw students are not eligible for this.
Campus Life
The fests are the core of galgotias in greater noida..you will enjoy the college life and fests here. For the books and journels there is a central library contains all books and open from 9 to 6.Almost every sport have been played in th college including chess. extracullicular activities have also been done like art, drawing etc. you also find many clubs here like tech club , coding club and other..
Admission
I have got fw seat in this college and got ece branch thats why i choose gcet over other college..as my rank is also sufficient for cse in this or other but as per my interest i choose this..thats why i did not fill otther colleges in uptac counselling,
Faculty
If i talk about the faculty to student ratio it is quite good. You have been alloted a experienced teacher for each subject which taught a class size of 75 students at a time. In my Class I really liked the way of teaching of my engineering chemistry teacher { Shelly Kujur Mam }..also others are also good. If talk about exams before end sem by aktu you have to ateemp 2 CAEs and 1 PUT
Interview Experience
No I have not face any group discussion, interview or written test for the admission as because I got the admission through jee mains or through the uptac counselling..but direct admission are also done based on your Class 12th percentage
Night Life
The college hostel contains gym which is accessible to only those students which stay in college hostel.The hostel closes at 8 to 9. Famous hangout place is cafeteria in my opinion.Also outside the college you will find many places to hangout
