College with good faculty and stress free environment

Kanoria is a fine college with a very simple and peaceful environment to study. You can enrol here if you are willing to opt for Arts or Commerce. The faculties and seniors are helping.

I would, however, rate it 7.5 out of 10 on the relevance and class orientation. The faculty and course are great yet in a much simpler form due to diverse background students also opting for English as a subject. Often it is felt that the faculty is biased with certain children due to personal interests.

The Placement is quite fine. I would rate it 6 out of 10. The Companies available for placements are usually city-based. Also, the number of recruiters are way too less but the name of college due to the courses and faculty helps you to stand out.

College does not celebrate or host ample of events but only that is in tradition. The only few events that are celebrated yearly are Farewell, Independence Day, Cultural Events and Club Fests that allow students to freshen up their mood. However, the indulgence of students is less on such occasions making it unnecessary to host.

The fee of the college is basic and affordable. The first-year course for Bachelors of Arts comes within Rs.11000. If you are opting for Bachelor of Arts in English alongside History/ Political Science/ Geography - the course fee is stated around Rs.9000 approx in Pass Course.

I did not avail any scholarship or loan because the fee is very basic. I find that anyone who is willing to appear for the college with a decent fee can easily afford it.

The college is an all-girls College which seems clear with the Full name stating "Mahila". The campus life is decent and not posh. You will find yourself in a simple environment which is either curriculum or clubs oriented. Sports/ labs/ Competitions are basic and you will find them entertaining but not best in terms of growth.

College seniors are helpful. You will not find raging or any discriminatory acts by them or anyone around.

The college procedure is easy when one wishes to take admission. You must have decent marks in your HSC+2 when applying. The amount of time the admission procedure takes is around a couple of hours. It's best to keep all the documents handy along with TC and ID proofs.

I would term them helping, understanding and humble. The faulty is strict in terms of campus rules but in regard to curriculum and exam based help, they are always upfront and do not usually neglect if extra time asked. The faculty allows field study for projects or course-related work.
