Insight of GEC-Bhavnagar

GTU in IT cirriculum in respect to core subject is nice like DS,DBMS,OS,CN and it is key reason i chose IT.But course in GTU give more and more theoretical foundation it lacks in practicle application. syllbus cover all topics but in some area like web devlopment,AI,ML it seem like outdated it would nice that they update syllbus and add some new topics. we have final exam in every six month and it difficulty to pass examination is lie between easy to medium

At campus there are servel internship opportunities give by college there are two option eithr you find compney or college can find for you. But in college intership you have to clear their some kind of techincal round to check your foundation skills i have not broad idea about it. Copanies like TCS , wipro, Tatvsoft and also some local startup give chance to student. They uselly work on SD work , Ml and all kind of industry work

You can sit in campus placemets in sem 6 or 7, but if you have skill you can also sit in placemets from sem 1. In campus there are many companies visited like TCS , adani, tatvsoft, espakbiz, mediatab and some othe local compines also .This is record of year 2024 Hihest packege is around 6lac ,and avrage is around 4lac . it seems low beause mejority student go to off campus placments.there are 51% student placed .My plan after getting degree is to go for masters

1) first we have semester fee around 1500 so yearly we have 2 smester so our yearly fee is 3000 somthing that include all tution , lab and all type fee except exam form fee 2) if you are girl or you get admission in TFWS then you fee is just 900 3) there are some gujarats scholarship name MYSY and DIJITAL scholarship where you get as you need based

in last few year GEC-BVN does not organize any kind of festivals , yes we can do some heackathons and some othe programs. we can get all kind of books and jounral and magazine from library. If you have any interst in sports or extra activities there are many club you can join and take participents in all activity

i chose GEC-BVN mainy because i live in bhavnagar,and staying close to home seemed like best option.I had the chance to get in GEC-Gandhingar but both college have same syllabus and simillar placement records.I also applied in LD and VGEC but i did't have that much rank to get in.GEC-BVN and all college of engineering in gujarat has same admissioon process through ACPC.in ACPC they consider your 12th bord marksheet and GUJCET mark and make rank for all student.process is smooth with online application and document verifaction. You must have to up to date regarding ACPC notification and uploding document process

taking about my IT department we have total 7 faculty in respect to 80 student, so we can said ratio is 1:11 in my department.Both during and after lactures, all faculty members are friendly and willing to answer question and they eager to help us. And i all respect and like all faculty in terms of their teaching style and knowledge around their subject. There are two exam in our syllbus first is mid term exam and second is end term exam. they are easy to medium lavel to pass this exam. if you give some time to subject in daily basis you can clear all GTU examination very easily.And overall cirriculam is relevent to the filed, through some subjet is need to be updated in regarding industry.

At GEC-BVN campus quite after 6PM as most of premises close down. Unfortunetly ther's no gym. We hangout with our freinds in classroom and in campus. and most popular place is canteen where students geather and relex, chat and grab snacks and cilling in common areas. I dont live in hostel so i dont have any idea about it but they enjoy they hostel like .
