Course Curriculum Overview
I want to go in astrophysics and that's the reason I chose physics so that I can pursue msc in astrophysics and furthur so to do that I choose this Teachers are goods but curriculum is not that good, when students are curious, the curriculum should also be updated accordingly, even the written syllabus is not completed.
Internships Opportunities
I don't know about such internships because I am not a part of internship programme so I can't say much but yeah there are some internship program my univ conducts. I am not in btech so I don't know about any project or their outcome. My internship are astrophysics based.
Placement Experience
No good companies come and i don't know about this because in bsc physics no such company come neither I am interested in job. Avg package for btech is 3l to 4l 30% students gets places Further studies after this degree till I become astronaut
Fees and Financial Aid
1,25,000 hostel fees 40,000 course fees 10,000 membership fees 100 Id card fees 18000 exam form fees divided into two parts semester wise 9k. From 6000 to 9000, the price of exam fees hiked in a night with a reason that inflation caused stationary price increased which forced the university to increase exam form fees
Campus Life
Campus life is decent with annual fests in winter and tech events in monsoon. Library has good books/journals, classrooms are well-equipped, and sports options are available. Active clubs make campus engaging.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are basic with bed, table & good Wi-Fi. Meals are okay with a simple rotating menu. Registration is easy & affordable. Nearby PGs in safe localities offer better comfort. But PGs are not safe so mostly it's better to stay inside.
Admission
I applied to multiple colleges but chose this one due to smooth admission, supportive faculty, and good academic environment. Missed a few due to higher cutoffs. Process here is simple and merit-based. Although later came to know these were just on paper
Faculty
Faculties are very approachable but it depends on faculty. Mostly all faculties of my department are good and easily available as there are very less students in my course and department. 2 internals exams and 1 semester exam each semester. Student who fails depends on many fsctor. Avg ratio will be 30 %. Course curriculum is non standard. It is just written on paper just.
Night Life
Campus nightlife is quiet; gym, café & library shut early. Hostels have fixed in-times. Students chill at nearby cafés and safe local spots. Late chats, walks & small hangouts help everyone unwind. Overall it's good and enjoyable
