Amazing college. I will not say it is the best college but it also depends how you live there and how you make the things best for you. Rest all depends on you. College is good, facilities are good. Enjoy the life there.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is simplified and standard as in every IIT and NIT have. There is a semester system. In each semester there are around 5-6 theory subjects and 3-4 lab subjects. Classes are 5 days in a week. There are 3 exams in each semester. One of 10 marks which is called mini test then mid term of 20 marks and final exam of 60 marks. So in each subject out of 100 you have these 90 marks from exams and 10 marks for attendance or assignment.
Placement Experience
Yes the placement are very good. For computer science it is 100% and with an average of 10 Lpa. Very nice companies with very nice package visit every year. You can also have the internship opportunities.but internship opportunity is limited.
College Events
Every day is a special event there. Each festival is celebrated. There are many society, clubs and groups. Cultural and technical fests are organised every year. These are the leaning experience as well as the best thing to enjoy your college life.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since it is a government college under MHRD So the fee is comparatively feasible. Most of the people can afford easily. If not you can take loan also. Mess fee is also very less. So overall good fee structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are no such facilities by college. Although government provide some scholarship based on 12th class academic. There is poor students fund scheme in college. If you are eligible to claim it you can get benefits.
Campus Life
Labs are good and equipment are available. Sports complex is there. Cricket, table tennis,chess, billiards,kabbadi, badminton, football, volleyball, basketball etc all are there. Gym is also there. Good trainers and coaches are there. Annual sports fest is also organised.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, hostels are built recently. All the old hostel are closed and students are shifted to new ones. You can have mess facilities, laundry, TV etc in hostels. Hostels have playground also. Vehicle parking is also there.
Alumni/Alumna
Very helpful. Alumni are at very reputable posts in recognized companies. Very strong network. Senior are also helping. No ragging scene. Help you with everything. Studies, medical help, exams , placement etc
Admission
Through the JEE examination. You have to clear the required cutoff which vary every year to year. The cutoff is different for different branch. There are 2 quota, one is home state and second is other state.
Faculty
Faculty is well educated with a great experience of teaching. If you are dedicated towards the aim then there is no such great role of any faculty in achieving that goal. It only depends on you. Rest all faculty is supportive and helpful.
