Course Curriculum Overview

5

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is that because of the location of college, which is in the industrial place where we can easily approach the companies and industries. Also college itself is providing us paid internship after completion of our first year. Curriculum here prepares so well for real-world applications through Career Development Cell (CDC). Timings for exams is of 2hrs for 70 marks paper. Difficulty level depends on the Bengaluru University as the papers are directly set from there. But college prepares us so well to crack any kind of paper and come out with glowing grades.

Internships Opportunities

5

Cothas coffee, Cafe Coffee Day, Flipkart etc. Stipend is around 25K per month (depends on interview round of the student). Certified courses, previous work experience and internships which student has done.

Placement Experience

5

From third semester itself students are eligible for campus placements. College itself provides internships for students also helping them to cop up with their studies. Companies visited are, Cafe Coffee Day, Cothas coffee, Infosys, Biocon, HCL tech. Highest package they provided is 14 Lakhs and average is 6.5 lakhs. 90% students get placed, 5% students have their own family business and other 5% students start their own business. My plan after getting my degree is to get into one of BIG FIVEs, earn money, build connections for atleast a decade and than start my own business.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fee I'm paying here is 4,50,000/yr. For first year, Tution fee is 5,09,500 Exam fee 5,000 Laptop 40,000 Sundries/Travel 5,000 Lab Fee 10,000 For second year, Tution fee is 3,00,500 Exam fee 5000 Sundries/Travel 5,000 Lab Fee 10,000 This feeling structure is for MBA+IBM Now, For MBA non-IBM fee is 3,72,500/yr For first year, Tution Fee 4,17,500 Exam fee 5,000 Laptop 40,000 Sundries/travel 5,000 Lab Fee 10,000 For second year, Tution fee 2,47,500 Exam fee 5,000 Sundries/Travel 5,000 Lab Fee 10,000 As we have come through management seats, college didn't provide any scholarships or financial aids. All government schemes are acceptable in the college and they support for getting it.

Campus Life

5

Freshers party, college events, cultural fests. Overall we have 6-7 events annually. Their is limited but vast range of books and journals available in the library. Facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms are best. We do have smart classes and projectors. Playground is not so big but college provides a different playground where college itself take us there and conduct tournaments. Indoor games must be improved within campus. No such clubs are their in college.

Admission

Before joining IZee Business School, I opted for 2 other colleges in Bengaluru. One was ISBR and the other was IIBS. I was interviewed and got offer letter for joining the college from both the colleges. But the thing was, 1. The fee structure was too high compared to Izee. ISBR was 10 Lakhs and IIBS was 9.5 Lakhs. 2. Both ISBR and IIBS weren't providing internships until our final semester whereas here in IZee we get internship though college in our second year(3rd semester) itself. Admission process for our college goes like this, First, we need to fill the application form through official website of college. Secondly, college consultant will be approaching us via call and schedule an online interview. Thirdly, once we are done with the interview round, we need to wait for the verification (2 days max) Fourth, If the student got selected, he/she will be getting an offer letter to join the college, and further details and dates will be provided. Exams like MAT, CAT, PGCET are accepted in the college, based on the score fee structure will be reduced for the student convenience. Overall admission process is good.

Faculty

5

Talking about faculty to student relationship here is so good. Not only college faculties, also the guest lecturers are also so supportive and encouraging. Personally, I liked Miss Rani Mam here who teaches CDC for us. I do like the way she handles, approaches, listen to students. She remembers names of each one of students. This shows that how dedicatedly she's into mentoring and guiding us. The corporate expertise of her lets us know about the real life challenges we do get to face in our future corporate life. There are no such faculty that I didn't like. We do have 4 semesters(2yrs). Per semester we do have two internal exams and one external exam. Both internal and external exams will be conducted under strict surveillance of faculty and live cameras. Almost all students get passed. I can't say that the course curriculum is completely relevant to us. But somehow for academics we need to follow it. But other than that, our college is providing real life learnings through field visits, expertise seminars, real life corporate situations through learning through playing.

Interview Experience

5

Interview was overall good. Questions were asked personal as well as academics. Than comes about some general, aptitude and situation based questions during interview where we can take our time, think and answer the questions. I was already prepared for the interview during the interviews I have for the other college admission process.

Night Life

5

Gym isn't available in college. Cafeteria is okay. Classes ends at 3:30pm. We can be in campus till 5:30 pm. After that gate closed and no student is allowed into the campus without permission. I do stay myself. We usually hangout outside the campus, eat and drink something. In campus, sometimes cafeteria. Night we aren't allowed.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
