Course Curriculum Overview
As we all know , college learning is not only about textbooks, and real world knowledge is equally important. in this area, the college supports student well by giving exposure to practical learning . the course includes industry related topics, and teachers also try to explain how concepts are used in real life. the curriculum is helpful, but adding more modern tools, software and hands on projects would make it even better. Overall, the syllabus prepares student for future jobs and higher studies, while still leaving some room for improvement.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like RELIANCE, ADANI, L & T, CAIRN, AMUL , MG MOTORS, ACCENTURE, TCS, TORRENT POWER, etc., visit here for placements and offer GET role to students. Comparatively, few students get placement compared with CS OR IT engineering courses.
Fees and Financial Aid
LDCE revised fee structure (from 2024-2025) is heavily subsidixed:annual payable amounts vary between about rs.1200 and rs.1500 depending on year and category; fees are collected semester wise (payable after each semester).
Campus Life
My overall campus life experience has been good. The environment is friendly , ans its easy to make friends through classes, events, and group projects. The college has different clubs that organize workshops, competitons , and cultural activities , which makes student life enjoyable. The technical facilities and classrooms are not upto the mark as compared to private institutions but much much acceptable in terms of the conditions and working in a better way.
Admission
LDCE is considered one of the top government engineering colleges in Gujarat. it is widely known as the no.1 govt. engineering collge in the state, and many students from 12th science and diploma aim to get admission here because of its strong reputation and quality education. so the first best option is LDCE so i selected LDCE as it is top gujarat college.
Faculty
The well-qualified faculties are teaching across all departments of the college. Most teachers holding phD or master's degrees from reputed institute guide students effctively with clear explanations and consistent support. their teaching hels build strong fundamentals and sparks genuine interest in learning.
Night Life
Honestly, I didn't really get involved in any nightlife during college because I would head straight home after classes. But the students who stayed in the hostel had a completely different experience. The area around the campus was full of small fastfood stall and cafes, so they always found a reason to go out whether it was celebrating clearing a backlog, scooring well in an exam, or just wanting a break from routine. The only catch was the hostel's strict things. If someone stayed out past the deadline, they had to report it or deal with the warden later. Still, within rules, my friends managed to enjoy themselves quite a bit.
