The college is excellent for students who wants to improve their self in studies and extracurricular activities.this is the wonderful place where you can learn the difficult concepts of engineering with indulging in extracurricular activities like NSS and student council activities.also there are 6 student chapters and students can take their membership based in their interest.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college follows the structure of Mumbai University. 2 unit tests are there in each semester and a session exam, whose dates are decided by the university of Mumbai.the 2 unit test are of 20 marks each.
Placement Experience
No the college does not provide with internship,and placements and job opportunities are moderate.Many companies have visited the campus over the past few years and also many students get placements from the college only.
College Events
Two fest are conducted in the college.one is the technical fest (cognition) and other is the cultural fest (TML).apart from these events various workshops, tedex and hackathon are conducted in the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is moderate.with the type of infrastructure and studies ,the fees is worth the money we spend in the college. The fees ranges from 1.10-1.20 lakhs for an academic year.no additional money is paid for the exam fee. This amount includes that fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes,The SIES provide the needful students with scholarship based on their marks scored in the semester exams and based on their family annual income.once the new session is started, students who wish to apply for the same has to fill a form and based on that ,they receive the scholarship.
Campus Life
The faculty motives students to take part in extracurricular activities includes youth festival ,Nss and student council activities.Students are encouraged to take part in sports and students of this institute have represented Mumbai University in the Nationals sports meet.
Alumni/Alumna
The student council of siesgst have a dedicated team that take care of alumni network.regular sessions are conducted in the college and a annual alumni meet.the seniors in the college are really helpful and one can approach them during the time of guidance.
Admission
In the year 2015, I appeared for the jee mains exam and based on my result,I got this college in the 1st CAP round conducted by the state government.after submission of necessary documents and admission fee , I got admission in this college.
Faculty
The faculty in college is good.they have some experienced faculty like asharaj maam. syllabus is completed on time.In the EXTC department the faculty is also good and the non teaching staff is also very cooperative.
