Durgapur government college is a government sponsored college.Here all teachers, supporting stuffs, lab assistants are very helpful. The library of this college is also great.If you are a student of this college you can't give any negative feedback.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college is under Kazi Nazrul University.This University has no proper exam structure.So that we have to face delay on exams and results.But the examinations (internal ,viva or practical) which are controlled by the college are always in right time.
Placement Experience
Just because of degree college there is almost no possibility (10%) to get a job or placement directly from the college.You can go for the examinations of government jobs or you can go for higher studies after graduation from this college.
College Events
Most probably all most each and every festivals are celebrated by our college.Rabindra jayanti, Nazrul jayanti, teachers' day,tree plantation program,year ending fest, celebration for the new comers in college etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As you can see this is a government sponsored college so fee structure is neat and clean.We have to pay the minimum amount of fees in every semester. Thanks to government so that we can proper education with minimum fees
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, there is many scholarships which can be gotten by examinations from our College. Also have extra scholarships for Girls, ST, SC,OBC.But as far I know there no load facility available in our College till now.
Campus Life
Durgapur government college is such a great place to see your extra curricular activities. Here we can see almost each and every sports (except cricket and basketball). The quality of laboratories are very good.
Alumni/Alumna
In this college from teachers to students or seniors are very helpful. But I have to mention the student union specially of our College. They always help you when you need any types of help from them.Really we get such a great seniors from our College.
Admission
You have to fill up the admission form of this college (online).Then if your name is in the merit list then you will be called from the college in a particular date and by giving documents and admission fees you can get the admission in this college
Faculty
I studied physics on the mentioned college so I can only say about the faculties of physics department.They are just outstanding.All of them are very much supportive and really love the students like their children and giving us proper teaching every time.
