Affordable Govt. College with practical experience

The course curruculum at GEC gandhinagar is quite relevant to the current engineering firld. it covers strong fundamentals while also introducing new technologies as we move ahead in semesters. each subject is connected to practical learning through labs and project works, so it doesn't feel outleted. some topics could be updated faster, but overall the curriclum is blaanced and helps in both higher studies and technical job preparation. i would rate 8 out of 10 for relevance and comprehensivenss.

Placement at GEC Gandhinagar are decent but not as strong as the top engineering college in Gujarat while a few repeatable companies visit the frequency and variety could be better many students with good gpas and project work seek your decent job either through the collegial or by actively applying on their own for those who dont get campus placement the college still provide a solid foundation you can pursue higher studies take certification course or enter the IT or core industry thought of campus jobs overall the experience prepares you sufficiently for the next step But its wise to Proactive about your career.

I am currently pursuing diploma in computer engineering collage, gandhinagr. since this is a goverment collage, the overfall fee is very affordable compared to private collages. our fee is charged on a year-wise basis and includes tution fee, development fee, lab fee & other compulsory charges. In my first year, the total fee. In my first year GEC Gandhinagar, the total fee was around Rupee 1725 including admission & resgistration. From second year onward, the yearly tution fee stays around 500 to 700 rupee, with no hidden charges and only a refundable cacution deposit paid once. the fee structure is pretty stable, so there is no sudden increase students from SC, ST & EWS categories get relaxion as per goverment norms. there are also scholarship like MYSY, merit-cum-means & SC/ST schemes that help many students get full or patial fee reimbursement. overall, the cost of this 3-year Degree course is very affordable for Diploma to degree students.

Campus life at GEC Gandhinagar is comfortable and friendly. the social environment is good and it's easy to interact with students from different backgrounds. There are technical clubs and cultural groups where you can participate in events although more frequent activities would make it even better though campus infrastructure is decent with clean classroom computer lab and a good library grounds and open space give a nice atmosphere for daily life Overall it's a positive experience where you can enjoy learning make friends and explore new interests especially if you take the intiative to join love in events.

The hostel facility at GEC Gandhinagar is average the building looks good from outside and Rooms are comfortable enough for students to stay beds are Usable and basic furniture is provided but the maintenance can be improved sometimes grass and weeds keep growing around the hostel area and clean is inside is not done regularly bathroom also need better upkeeps facilities are limited so students usually manage things on their own. I personally stay in a private hostel outside the college but from what I have seen in here the college hostel is okay from adjusting not perfect.

I chose GEC gandhinagar mainly because it is goverment engineering collage with a good reputation and affordable and Affordable fees The campus is in a good location in Gandhinagar which makes daily travel easier compared to some other college They are far from the city I had applied to a few private schools as well but their fees were much higher in placement records where not constantly better than GECGN. That made this college a more practical and smarter choice for me. This admission process was thought the acpc centralised counselling. Since I am a D2D student I applied in the diploma to degree quota the process was completely online including registration choice filling and cheat alloyment I got the branch I wanted in the first round itself so the oral admission experience was smooth and straightforword.

The faculty members at GEC gandhinagar are knowledgeable and supportive. many of them tech with practical example, and they are apporachable when we need help with assignments or concept. A few techers rely more on theory, but overall the teching quality keeps us on the right track in engineering. The course structure follows GTU guidelines, so we learn both technical fundamentals and new subjects every semester. labs are for important subjects, which helps improve our hands-on skills. the exam system has internal exam, practicals, and practical performance. GTU finals are based on theory and follow a 70 marks pattern. the marking is fair, but students must keep consistency in internals in internals to score well overall.

Nightlife Around GEC Randinagar is pretty quiet since the college is in a peaceful area and not in a crowded city centre there aren't many late night hangouts sport nearby most students prefer spending time in hostel or going out for events snake before returning if someone wants more options like movies cafes or malls they usually plan a trip to Ahmedabad which is close by end as a much livier night life overall is calm and safe but not a place for late night outings
