Review of my college

The positive remark is that the college is open for any kind of creative and innovative ideas of their students. It supports new thoughts of student and help them to improve it. I don't want to call it a negative remark,but this college is strict about their rules and the college days will be too hectic.

There were enough course provided in the institute. The course curriculum is decided by VTU. They are changing the syllabus to the latest technologies. There will be 3 mandatory internals every semester. End of the semester, there will be one external.

The placement opportunity is very good (especially for CSE branch). They conduct bootcamp for the final year students which will enhance the learning capability of individual physically and mentally. There are several internships that are conducted y different firms inside the campus. There will not be any stipend provided. But it is a good learning experience over all.

Not just the technological excellence, they also celebrate many events and fests with the same spirit. Over the year, there are several different events that are being conducted. Ethnic day, sports day, college annual day, technical fests, hackathon etc.

The fee structure is very much feasible. It is worth the expenses. There are scholarships provided to encourage the merit students. They charge for the tution fees, exam fees. They are providing many workshops that are worth the cost. Comparing other colleges, this institute charges less money for the tution fees.

There are many scholarship facilities provided. Also they have loan facilities,but I have never tried for the loan. There is Epass scholarship that students can apply for. Apart from Epass, they provide scholarships like vidyasarti and ONGC scholarship for merit students.

There are many labs that has been based in ALVA'S. Labs such as MEMS lab, Apple iOS lab, and many other. Students can rightly take part in many club activities such as innovation club, hackathon club, chirp club, srishti clubs, these clubs conduct several activities which are very much interesting and refreshing to be a part of it. Of course ALVA'S gives high preference to sports as well. They have won several trophies in national level games.

They have a good alumni network which helps the upcoming batches to know about current Industry needs. They will call for the alumni meet once in a year. It will be good to see alumni students years after and also proud to know their positioning in industry.

I got admitted to my college through CET examination. We had several rounds after getting our ranks CET to choose the college based on the cutoff. I had got Alva's Institute. After downloading the admit card, we went to college. Then I had to pay my fee and joined the college.

The faculties of the college are having good knowledge in various different fields. Every semester, there will be faculty development programs conducted so that faculties will be up to date with the new technologies.
