Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum being followed is designed by JNTU-H University. The course has both research-driven and theory subjects. There is a balance between both the theory and practical subjects. We have to write internal and external examinations to get passed. The internal examinations are conducted by our college and the external by the university.
Placement Experience
Our college has a pretty decent placement record. It is better than most of the other colleges in the city. Infosys is a partnered company which recruits a good number of candidates. There are many other companies which visit our college to hire prospectus candidates in their respective branches. More than the placement is about the training provided by the training and placement department which helped us clear the interviews and get placed in a company.
College Events
Our college does not host many events but yes there are a few events that are conducted. Every semester we have a technical event named 'Innovative Project Expo' where students from all branches and all semesters showcase the projects which they have done in the course of the semester. Professionals from the industry visit and evaluate the projects and prizes are given for the best performers.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure of our college has been fixed by the TAFRC The tution fees are decided based on the infrastructure, labs, facilities etc. which are present in the college. The tution fees for our batch has been fixed at 80000 per year. Apart from that, we have to pay other fees like stationery, library, transport, CRT etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I have not opted for any kind of scholarship or education loan. But I have friends who receive a fee reimbursement from the government. College also provides certain concession in fees in certain circumstances.
Campus Life
Overall the campus life is very good. The campus is surrounded by hills and trees. There is a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere in and around the college. The gender ratio in most of the branches is 1:1, and in other branches is also not very low. There are people of all religions, castes, creeds, genders, places and of all economic and cultural backgrounds. But that never affected the flow of things.
Alumni/Alumna
All the seniors of our college are helpful and always approachable. You can get any kind of information from them. Even after leaving college they stay in touch with us in some way or the other.
Admission
I got admission into this college through TS EAMCET. I got an overall rank of around 11k. In the college selection and counselling I process I put options of many colleges out of which, based on my rank and category, I got admission into this college in the branch of computer science and engineering.
Faculty
The faculty in our college are well qualified. All of them hold highly professional degrees. They impart a great amount of knowledge and information to us. They are helpful and always approachable both within and outside the classrooms. The guide is in not only the course curriculum but also in extracurricular activities and projects.
