Course Curriculum Overview
The course opted in Mechanical Engineering. The oxford college of engineering has good well equipped and well-maintained labs. The college library has old handbooks of famous authors provide deep knowledge about the subjects. The exam structure is according to the VTU which is one of the famous universities in Karnataka.
Placement Experience
The placement department of our college provides good opportunities in core companies as well as IT, marketing and other fields. The placement training, soft skills training and technical training will be provided for better eligibility of placements.
College Events
Oxford annual fest will be conducted and the technical fest will be conducted yearly once. Kannada Rajyotsava will be celebrated grandly every year. the events like tech talks, IEEE conference, paper presentation, project exhibition, sports day, annual sports meet.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The KCET fees are Rs 63410/- includes the college fees and all the other expenses of the curriculum included per year and the exam fees must be paid to VTU every semester. The stationery fees of Rs 600 (avg) will be taken as the college provides all the notes lab records and blue books with question banks lab manuals included.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I didn't opt for any scholarship or education loan. So I have very less idea about it but the college provides good scholarship opportunities to the needed students.
Campus Life
The oxford college campus is one of the big campuses in Bangalore the mechanical department that is our batch has the gender ratio of 1:10 which is good considering the ME branch. Labs are well equipped and maintained. Extracurricular activities like fests, sports meets etc are provided.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior is very helpful in guidance for off-campus placements and startups help in getting good opportunities.
Admission
This college selected from the list of colleges given in my shortlist KCET. In first-round, the oxford college of engineering was selected got the admission order from KCET and joined the college in 2016 by the entrance test by Karnataka examination authority.
Faculty
The faculty of the college are well experienced where most of the teachers in the mechanical department are PhD holders. They have good command on the subjects. The teachers give good guidance and overall supports to the students throughout the course curriculum and also encourage extracurricular activities.
