Likes
- The cultural fest in my college is good . Professional artists like darshan rawal, sachet parampara and divya kumar have come in the fest
- The vibe of the college is good , the campus is very peaceful
- Hostel is also decent. The entry time is 10 pm which is a good thing
Dislikes
- The attendance policy is not good ,it is 85% which is too exhausting
- There are a lot of unnecessary subjects also like yoga and ews which takes a lot of precious time
- The outpass system is messed up . For girls getting out of college is a big hectic
Course Curriculum Overview
Talking specially about information science and engineering branch the curriculum is good we are offered subjects like Blockchain,aws , gcp and more . But there are few not so important subjects like research methodology that feels unnecessary
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are not so much in my college. Only few companies like ofss by oracle came and took 2 students as shortlisted and 1 as waitlist. The stipend they offered was 60000 rupees per month for 2 months
Placement Experience
The college has a dedicated career development cell that starts working from the 3rd semester onwards with aptitude training, then soft skills then proper technical training in 3rd year. The average placement is around 6 lakhs and highest is around 25 lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
My college fees is around 269000 ruppes and the split is as follows: tution fees : 237700 , other fee : 20000, university fee : 3510 ,exam fee :3000 and every year during anadyanta the annual fest they take extra around 800 rupees. The fee structure i have described above is through Comedk ,the kcet fees is less around 150000 and extra scholarship for Karnataka students
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the college is average the computers are in working condition, classroom of information science and Engineering specifically have smart boards and wi fi acess that allows better learning. There are cultural clubs like goong , sangharsh etc. technical clubs like gdg and nmit hacks provide students platform to conduct event and participate in them
Hostel Facilities
There are 3 boys hostel and 4 girls hostel in the campus. One hostel each is dedicated for 1st years both for boys and girls. Also the food quality is average,it's not bad but repetitive menu makes it boring
Admission
I chose this college because of my Comedk rank that was around 8k and in my year the cutoff was also high ,so this was the best possible college for me . I also got selection from kalinga institute of technology but it was too expensive
Faculty
There are different faculty for different subjects.most of the faculty are supportive and friendly. They provide us with study material for exams . If you are good with them they are also good for you . They also give attendance to you if you are in the good books of them
Night Life
There is no nightlife unfortunately as such in the college. The in time for hostels are 10 pm strictly for specifically girls. The cafeteria get closed by 5pm only . But there are other eateries such as maggi station and siri that provide snacking options till night
