Placement and Infrastructure

The Course Curriculum of Btech includes EEE, ECE, CSE, ME, MME, PIE, CE. As it's a government institute, it's curriculum is well designed but needs to be upgraded a bit based new technologies.Exam is consists of two parts i.e. Midsem(30%) and Endsem(50%) and rest viva and assignments.

Placement opportunities are quite good in our institute, our placement scenario is far better than many of the NITs our there, mainly in computer science sector. The average pay in computers and sector goes across 11lpa and pay in other branches are also pretty descent. No our institute provide internship but it provides platforms to get internship in some other companies.

there are many cultural and technical events are celebrated in our college few of them are Ojass which is the technical fest of our institute, Culfest which is the cultural fest of our institute, Urja which is the sports fest of our institute.

The fee structure feasible for average or low income families as there is a fee remission scheme, but it costly for above average income families as they don't have any scheme for fee remission. the families which are having income less than 1 lakh get full fee waiver and families with income between 1 lakh to 5 lakh get two third of the fee waiver.

The college doesn't provide as such scholarship in my knowledge but there are other outside scholarship schemes that we can opt for, in addition to that the institute offers free mission to lower economic families like it offers full fee remission for families with income less than 1 lakh and it offers 2/3rd remission for families with income between 1 lakh and 5 lakh.

there are many extra curricular activities to do in this institute, include debating club music club, dramatics club ,photography club, personality development club ,quizzing club etc. you can give inductions of various clubs and get inducted to them and learn many co-curricular skills in sports or in any cultural for educational fields.

this institute is quite old approximately 80 years old so it has developed a good alumini network till now and to maintain and develope this network, annually in our institute alumini meets are organised ,which are helpful in bringing many companies to our institute for placements of our students.

First i needed to appear for JEE Mains, through which i got EEE branch in NIT Jamshedpur. Then we had to report to the institute for paper verification and after few days we were assigned dates for admission.

Faculties of my institute are quite good, some of them are old and some of yhem are young, the older one are a bit passive and less interactive where as younger ones are quite good at their work, they interact and take a regular tests. Nowadays our institute is recruiting new more talented faculties which is a good thing for future batches.
