Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose bsc computer science because I'm interested in IT jobs and want become a developer. The syllabus is useful for real world learning and it covers important basics. i found subjects like c programming very helpful for understanding core concepts. the curriculum is decent but it needs more practical sessions and better lab facilities. the software and systems in the lab should also be updated. we follow a semester system, and the exams test both theory and practical knowledge. overall the course is good, but more hands on training would make it even better.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college course is B.Sc Computer Science and my yearly fee is arount 2000 Rupees because of it it is a government college. this covers tuition, exam fees and all basic charges. the fees have not increased for my batches. Hostel is free for SC and ST students, while others pay 600 rupees only. And i also received a 3000 rupees scholarship at the end of each academic year. Overall the fees are very low and affordable compared to private colleges.

Campus Life

3

My campus life experience at VSS Government Arts College is simple and peaceful. there are no big festivals, but the college conducts small events and department activities. these is no festivals. classroom are normal woth only basic facilities and there are no smart classes. the college has a good big ground, but there are no active sports or games conducted. there are few students clubs, but they are not active. overall the campus life is calm, with limited activities.

Admission

I didn't apply to any other colleges. i chose VSS Government Arts College because the fees are very low and it was affordable for me. the admissions process is simple and took only only around 2 hours to complete. the eligibility is just passing 12th standard with 55 percent marks. my overall admissions process was very quick and easy.

Faculty

5

In the computer science department these arount 120 students but only 2 staff members. the teachers explain well , but they dont have enough time time because they handle too many students. they are friendly and helpful, but the workload is too high for them. We follow the semester system and the exams are difficult, and many students fail. only around 10% of students pass each year. the syllabus is good and useful, but the exam papers are hard. overall teaching is good but the college need more staffs.

Night Life

1

There is no nightlife around my college, inside the campus thesr is only one small store that provide tea, food, and snacks, but it closes Early. these are no night hangout sports in college and surrounding area. And is not very safe for night , so most students leave before evening. The library is only open from 10 AM to 3 PM and the campus also closes soon after. the hostel gate is closes at 10 PM and no one can go in or out after that. There is no gym. The hostel has simple free food for hostel students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and relevant to current academic and real world needs,it hepls built astrong foundation knowledge especially in my field geography, the syllabus also supports preparation for competitive exams and higher education. Exams are conducted regularly and difficulties level is moderate, which helps in consistent preparation, however adding more practical assessments instead of only theoretical exams would be beneficial Overall the curriculum is good but it can be improved by including updated topics more hands on learning, and modern teaching methods

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are well structured and interesting espcially the social psychology and basic psychology papers. in a semester there are 2 internal exams and they will be at least a month apart from each other. as long as you study your course materials, the exams are pretty easy however otherwise it might be a tough one. the courses are well structured espcially the social and basic psychology. and in some semesters, there will be a reading period where students are encourged to go and read in the Library.. The Curriculum served as a base for Internships and basic understanding but it is required to do masters to get a job in psychology filed
