GEU is a fantastic place!

The kind of curriculum we have can be called structured and well-rounded too. I choose this course and college as no other has this and then the way GEU has facilitated this course is also next level. Lectures are just twice weekly and this I think can be increased in numbers and that will make us have more time in the campus life.

Our course only has core jobs in few companies and our university has made tie-ups with most of them. HAL, DRDO and even ISRO and the companies that are into building aviation products are our university partners. So, it's good that we have made thee partnerships and students of our batch too will now enjoy core placements.

So myself Gargi Dutt and I applied at GEU in 2024 for the course BSC in Aeronautics. I was initially interested in law but because I was so inspired by the prospect of this course that I changed my idea. I am from Delhi and no college in Delhi offered this course and therefore I came to GEU and took admission here for which I am paying 2.75 lakhs a year.

Every department has its own block and one such funny block is the Chanakya Block which is management block. Our classes though are held in CSIT Block. Now sports area isn't that huge as our campus has one ground and that is also used for various other activities too. Our annual event is GRAFEST and students of various departments manage it altogether.

Hostel and especially the Marina Girls hostel of our university is built with utmost precision and hardwork. Whoever the think tank behind it must be credited as so many girls in one hostel and hostel has enough space and facilities to accomodate them all. Only the food part if it is bettered nothing wrong with the hostels.

In GEU various entrances are accepted and university has its own as well. Still, our criteria is pretty simple that if in 12th we had Physics and Maths and we have over 50%, we are granted direct admissions. Those above 80 are provided perks in forms of scholarships and thus that's one point of attraction of getting admission here.

Top Aeronautical engineers who haven't just taught but have build in life are our professors. Many of them have worked with private and government organizations too. University choosing them has been one of the most best decision and I will say all our professors are best. They always make students welcoming.

Clement Town makes it easier for students who wants to travel by bus. ISBT is nearby and less traffic inside the Church Road makes it best and ideal place to roam. Buddha Temple and so many Tibetan food cafes and all gives a unique taste altogether and vibes as well.
