Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is quite good as per the Market and we are also following the curriculum from IIMs and Havard. We also providing the guest lecture to the students and the guests coming form the corporates.

Internships Opportunities

I was interened at iconic infraventure which a real estate firm, where i was working as a sales and marketing intern and the stipend was around 10K. it was a good experience for me in that firm with good exposure.

Placement Experience

it decent and our colledge also some placement policy and limited number of attempts which it would be quite stressful for the students during the placement seasons. highest package as around 17 lpa and median was 7 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees was 14.4 Lakh and per rear it was 7 lakhs and in 14.5 lakh lakh includes Registration and security deposits, and everything were included in the 14.4 fess including hostel, mess and other charges. We also have some scholarship for Girls and also provide scholarship for students who scored more than 90%ile in CAT and XAT. Total strength of the batch is 360 students.

Campus Life

One of the best campus situated in the outskirts of the City with lush green campus nad good atmosphere, And it was quite a interesting to participate in clubs and committees and i was also a part of various clubs.

Admission

Bcoz this is the best colledge in the Percentile with good ROI. And admission process was quite simple Exam followed by GD and PI. And in 2023 the admission process was completely online and quite simple.

Faculty

Faculty in IMT Nagpur is excepitonally great not all but most of them, and we are following the dymanic curriculum which includes case study and other dynamic projects like MR, Pricing strategy, Product mangement.

Night Life

Night life was good , with canteen facilties and 24*7 library available for the students, we also have some clubs and all students were invloved in clubs and comitteess. We also have a huge playground from cricket, tennis, basketball.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
