Entrance Preview

Admission is based on class 12 marks. I scored 90%. I chose BBA as I want to pursue MBA. I chose SD College over other colleges in north India because of its reputation.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course includes commerce subjects like accounts, economics, bussiness environment, etc. It follows the curriculum of PU. The faculty is very good and experienced.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are available though I haven`t taken any yet. Stipend differs from company to company and is around 5000. They are usually available in summer break and offer lot of exposure to students and in job placements.

Placement Experience

Many companies take part in placements. Usually average packages are 1,50,000-2,50,000 . However, being a current student I haven`t experienced it yet.

College Events

There are 3 fests in the college. The biggest is Virasat which is organised by all college and is attended by thousands of people . BBA has its own fest , Panache. It is the second biggest fest. There are many different programmes and competitions. Also, many big celebrities are invited to the fests who usually give a performance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible. It is around 30,000 per year for the BBA course. However, fee structure differs from course to course. The fee is generally less than other similar colleges of north India.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven`t availed any such facility and dont have much knowledge on the subject. However, sports persons and reserved category get fee reduction.

Exam Structure

There is semester system in college. BBA is divided into six semesters of roughly six months each. Exams are held at the end of each semester. Also, there are Mid semester exams which are required to be passed in order to sit for end semester exams. Howev

Placement Experience:

About college placement, there is a placement cell which provides the information about the companies in 5th sem. We have to fill a form where we agree to join the placement cell opportunity when companies arrive. As so many big companies arrive the chances of success is less. But if you give your best you will definitely get selected.

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester Students Are Eligible For Placements. Companies Like Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank And IBM. All The Placement Info Is On The Website Itself But The Requirement To Sit in Placements Is Atleast 75% Score In All Of The Sems Combined. My Score Was Not Above 75 So I'm Going For Off Campus Jobs.

Life At GGDSD

I have chosen GGDSD because in my locality no other college offered this course ghat too a full fledged one. I did not apply to any other colleges and got my admission here in the very first go and was quite happy with way the admission process happened It was smooth and even the faculty members helped through it. One of the best college in Chandigarh

The eligibility for admission depends on various factors and varies from course to course. The candidate must fill the DHE chandigarh form costing 70 Rs before doing anything, as you will not be eligible to fill the admission form if not filled the mentioned(DHE) form. Eligibiltity of my course was just on my 12th class's board percentage. You can find the application form, application fees and application dates on the official website of GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH There are reservered seats for specific castes although i am from general category so i did not get any type of reservation. The exams are held every 5 to 6 months after the semester end. And they are held from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2 pm to 5pm.
