Remarks
Overall it is a very good institution in the field of pharmacy, one of the top institutions and a very old name. You go in the professional industry and mention the name of DIPSAR, it's more like a brand name.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum for pharmacy is based on the PCI. Especially in DPSRU the curriculum, exams and attendance are taken very seriously. In DIPSAR(a constituent college of DPSRU) all these things are not a hype here, yes exams are taken seriously in DIPSAR but you won't stress up for it. (internals) Semester end exams are the same for both of them.
Placement Experience
Placements in DIPSAR are very good, as it has a very old and reputed name in the market. There is a dedicated placement cell in our college. the average package offered after bachelors is 4 lakhs/annum and after masters, it's 6 lakhs/ annum, this can go up to 8 lakhs. Remember this is a starting pay scale, straight after your college placement.
College Events
Almost all of the events are celebrated here, from the starting of official freshers to all of the religious festivals like Gurupurab, Eid, etc. If you are having exceptions for college fests, then I am sorry you will get really disappointed about this. But its fun to celebrate other events here with your friends.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure of B.Pharm is as follows: At the beginning of every odd semester= Rs 22550. At the beginning of every even semester= Rs 15500. This fee is applicable for general category students, for OBC, SC, ST students several deductions are there according to the category like for SC/ST students only tuition fee is exempted.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I didn't opt for any scholarship or education loan. But several students do opt for scholarships provided by the government and other institutions. Since it is a Delhi government college, you can avail your scholarship from the e-district website of Delhi government and national scholarship portal accordingly.
Campus Life
DIPSAR provides a hectic free campus life, you will enjoy your college life to the fullest. It's all stress-free whether you want to study or not nobody will force you, but that doesn't mean to focus on your academics.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very helpful and friendly here, they even provide you with their notes, previous year question papers, books or any sort of assistance you need from them, you ask them anything they will guide you through all of it.
Admission
Getting admission is DIPSAR is a bit easier than the other medical courses. Mind this word "a bit". But the cut off is really very high for the general and non-Delhi students. since the entrance is not a headache here, admission is done on the basis of your 12th marks and a merit list is prepared for the applicants based on your merit list you will get your seat.
Faculty
Faculty here in DIPSAR is very experienced and some of the senior teachers here are UPSC qualified. They are helpful if you want to gain knowledge, but that definitely depends on you. Guest lecturers are also very good.
