Course Curriculum Overview
I liked computers right from my childhood, so I decided to take computer science and engineering. Every semester they call people from industries to teach real world use cases , recently I attended that program and I feel it is quite useful.
Internships Opportunities
Every student should do project in every semester . We did a project on Airplane Management system. Every year companies like Google , Oracle , flipkart and many other companies come to offer internship . Due to AI this year it placements reduced by 10 to 15 percent.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees is 140000, and the fees reimbursement is 140000 . For book lending scheme is for 5000, for semester exams fees is 3750 . Admission fees is 9500rs.the scholarship I got is from telangana board under epass .
Campus Life
Every year vasavi has Euphoria , Verve ,MUN and tech fest . We have a library consisting of 1 lakh plus books and a online portal to access from anywhere. We can get any book from the library and should return in 15 days , which is more than enough.
Admission
I applied for eapcet , jee mains and advanced . In eapcet I got admission in VNRVJIT for CSD branch , even though I chose this college because vasavi college don't have payment seats . They give admission only on merit based. I entered in vasavi only through eapcet and I got 2865 rank in it. So finally I made Into a decent good college.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is 1 is to 20 . Faculty and students have a great bonding. We can approach them for even a silly questions. I liked Dr Deepthi mam , faculty of Introduction to Electrical engineering subject , she teaches in way that everyone can understand easily.
Interview Experience
I don't had any experience of interview , but we have group discussion in HVPE and LL classes these are courses which build students personality. We had a debate on "Is AI good or bad" , this debate improved my communication skills.
Night Life
There is no college hostel present so , we stay in private hostels . The night life here is refreshing. We go to friends cafe, Varalakshmi tiffins and bagara box and also for badminton. The hostel closes at 10:30 pm.
