What Students Say
Likes
- I like the place where this college situated just in the heart of Chandigarh city which is the beautiful city and the environment of colleges very modern and the crowd that comes in the college is very good. And this is a really reputed College here
- The faculties in this college are really nice humbe and willing to help if you reach out to them and they are lineant
- I like the clubs and the community this college has it gives a great environment to learn
Dislikes
- I do not liked the the infrastructure and the infrastructure is quite old and the fees they are taking we deserve a good infrastructure this infrastructure is quiet outdated
- I don't like the fee structure even though this is a government college the fees is still quite hi for government college
- The academic pressure I believe the college is more study oriented rather than sports or cultural oriented
Course Curriculum Overview
I believe sometimes the curriculum is old and outdated and sometimes awesome near subjects like communication and environmental science the curriculum is this perfect and teaches about day to day life and things which we can practically implement in our daily life apart from that the curriculum is just like other government institutes like nits and iits I believe the frequency of exams and quizzes are just high you just get one month of break and next month there is a mids Amore big exam you have to prepare for it I believe it's just stressing and and I believe the frequency of exam should be lower other than this if you are a studius kid this may be easy for you
Internships Opportunities
Flipkart is a really big company which offered many internships in our college and stipend we read from 30 to 45000 in our college for my branch specifically speaking for electrical branch there are very less internships for my branch but for circuit and branch like ECE and CS the internship of opportunity really great. Early have no knowledge for the second question thank you
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placement from 6th semester onwards most of the big companies do visit our campus like apple Flipkart Microsoft Google airbus and most of the big companies come in our placement I package for electrical branch in 2025 was 52 lpa and the average median package remained about 13 LPA for2025 the data isn't out yet but typically 72to 75 percent students get placed in my branch my plans after the degree is to get a stable corporate job of 18+lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
THERE IS NO WAY TO ATTACH DOCUMENTS HERE IF YOH NEED SOME DOCUMENTS LIKE FULL FEE STRUCTURE OR PDF RELATED TO ALL SCHOLARSHIP PROVIDED BY COLLEGE KJNDLY MESSAGE ME ON MY WHATSAPP 8839937950 DONT CALL I AM WILLING TO HELP. this is a NIT level college but the fees is not NIT level as it is a quite more expensive than other top institute and I believe the college should lower the fees compared to the facilities given by the college as it is not up to Mark as the fees is taken so coming on the fees tuition fees for one semester is 94000 general candidate and for reserved sc and st category it is half of it.then and there is no relaxation for EWS category in terms of fees there are multiple scholarship programs but they do not cover up a considerable number of students like 1 or 2 student in a class of 120 may get its benifit and the scholarship does not sometimes cover even half of the yearly fee .full fee waiver is given to the students below poverty line. Some students also get scholarship if they top there class and for first year rank openers of their respective branches also get scholarship ship , only 2 percent of ews category student get 50 percent fee waiver now
Campus Life
There are various festivals in my college the main festival is the pecfest which is our flagship level festival it is held in November and most of the big events happen in this festival this festival is sponsored by our college Indian army videos search small events happening in our college there is a variety of books and journal in our library and is available to students through their ID cards aur classes are good with smart boards and ACS but faculties prefer to teach on blackboard rather than on slides or PPTs and which I think it is great throughout the campus there are no camera in classrooms to be specific the campus has almost all types of sports infrastructure leg swimming pool badminton court volleyball court football grounds cricket grounds and what not the college also has a gymnasium There are not one but many social groups or gloves in our college like NCC SCC and NSS there are many other cultural clubs like for dance and drama also there are technical society's which deals with take related stuff also there is devotional and meditative societies in our college so there is versatility of groups you can choose for your college life
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities given by the colleges really decent I believe they can really improve the facilities the meal provided is decent and for 1st year the rooms are shared to students in one room the rooms are not so use they provide to beds and one table and chairs you have to bring your own mattress you get only one when no air conditioning provided in summers you can put water cooler buy or own expense and still you have to pay 200 or 300 for electricity bill not throughout the year but for somebody is when you put your air cooler I would suggest for first year you should out for hostel and enjoy hostel life later you can change and live in flat or PG
Admission
I applied for Maulana Azad institute of technology Bhopal but I didn't get branch higher than mechanical for my rank so I considered this college this college has great placement records and good legacy so this was a safe option for me and the location of this colleges just perfect for me I was also spectacle about getting admission into NIT Jaipur under chemical branch but I wanted circuital branch and the electrical branch of this college is better than most of the college in the same league so I choose this college for this particular reason I got rejected in maulana Azad institute of technology for my low rank I wanted at least a circle branch so I didn't get admission there basically you give exam JEE mains to be specific and then you get your rank and just a basic process you enroll in juice accounts in counselling you get this college there are other course like be designing so you have to give respective exam for that course
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is like 1: 60 the faculties are super humble and approachable and are willing to help if you need them mrs Swati Bhardwaj mam aur maths faculty is really experienced and humble teacher anar communication faculty miss Omega vaid is also a very great teacher she puts a lot of effort in her work to improve effective communication of a student till now there is no such a faculty I have heated or I didn't like but what I have heard most wEd teachers are pain and can't blame them cause most students don't like the subject there are lots of quizes there are 3 quiz for 1 subject each sem and there is one mid sem and endsem like generally in all college and all these collectively make your grade
Night Life
There is a old school gym in our college the machines are just fine and the machines are getting replaced with new ones there is a dedicated space for market in our college named as pec market All kind of stores and cafes are situated there hostels are open for students from 6 in the morning to 10 o'clock in night and the classes of from 8 o'clock to 5 o'clock Max people usually hangout on the train engine in our college or usually the spend time in athletic ground or usually go to nayagaon which is on the side of our college the city is released and there there are many places to visit will be mention some of the famous places like Sukhna lake and Rock garden and sector 11 yeah it is really safe to roam around at night in the college and outside the college
