Course Curriculum Overview

4

One of the main reasons I chose this course was that it gave me a strong theoretical background in basic electronics. Some of the main things that helped me make my choice were Network Theory, Analog and Digital Electronics, Signals and Systems, Communication Systems, Microprocessors & Microcontrollers, VLSI, and Embedded Systems. These subjects help you learn a lot about both hardware and communication. The curriculum gets students ready for higher education, competitive tests, and the basics of electronics. But for real-world applications in fields like embedded systems, IoT, VLSI, and communication software tools, students need to use internships, projects, and self-study to connect what they learn in class with what they do in the real world. The area of improvement are like more topics relevant to the present and future technologies along with handson experience on those topics should be included in the curriculum. Instead of teaching stuffs that are not used in the present days futuristic technologies should be taught . The examination system generally includes three internals and one end-semester university examination per subject. Exams are conducted at regular intervals and are moderate in difficulty, focusing more on conceptual clarity and numerical problem-solving rather than rote learning.

Internships Opportunities

4

The college provides supportive internship opportunities, mainly through training partners, faculty references, and external platforms. Students are encouraged to apply for internships both on-campus (via MoUs) and off-campus. Companies like deolitte, endava, infosys provides internships. Roles like Data Analysis Intern, Technical Intern Project Intern, Network and Embedded Systems Intern, Web Development Intern, Embedded Systems Intern will be provided. Some companies pay a stipend of 5k to 10k. Some will be unpaid ones. Interns typically worked on: Web and App Development projects (frontend/backend modules) Embedded systems & loT mini-projects Data analysis and automation tasks Network setup and system maintenance (for core branches

Placement Experience

4

Students are eligible for campus placements only from their 7th sem. Usually 200+ companies visit our college with offer of 900+. Almost 80 to 85 percentage of students get placed since the recession is on phase the rate is normal. My plan is to enter a semiconductor insustry after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college's fee schedule is year-by-year and doesn't significantly change over the course of the program. Fees by Year (B.Tech – 4 Years) First Year: ?1,45,000 Second Year: ?1,45,000 Third Year: ?1,45,000 Fourth Year: ?1,45,000 The total cost of the four-year program is about ?5.8 lakhs. Over the course of my course, there has been no notable increase in fees. Fee Schedule (Approximate) Tuition: ?1,15,000 to ?1,20,000 annually One-time admission and registration fees range from ?8,000 to ?10,000. ?5,000 is the refundable caution deposit. Development Fees: ?7,000 to ?10,000 annually Laboratory Fees: ?4,000 to ?6,000 annually Exam fees, library fees, and student activity fees (between ?4,000 and ?6,000) are additional mandatory charges. Category-wise Fee Details General / Management Category: Pays the full fee of ?1.45 L per year. SC / ST / OBC / EWS Categories: Eligible students receive government fee reimbursement scholarships. After scholarship, many students pay only ?15,000 – ?30,000 per year, mainly for exam and development charges. Some of my batchmates from reserved categories had significantly lower fees due to these scholarships. Scholarships and Financial Aid The college facilitates multiple scholarship schemes, including: State Government Scholarships (SC, ST, OBC, EWS) Central Government Scholarships Merit-based Scholarships for academic toppers Merit-cum-Need Scholarships for financially weaker students Minority Scholarships (as per eligibility) Scholarship amounts range from ?20,000 to full tuition fee reimbursement, depending on the student’s category, merit, and family income.

Campus Life

4

Synergia is the annual tech fest that is held in the month of November. Our library is vast whichi two floors filled with thousands of books and journals with all ranges of books available. Standard national and international journals are available, along with access to e-resources and digital libraries. The library is easily accessible during college hours and provides a quiet study environment. Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, equipped with projectors, smart boards, and audio-visual teaching aids. Labs have functional equipment required for experiments and practical sessions, though some facilities can be further upgraded with newer technology. The campus offers facilities for outdoor sports like cricket, football, volleyball, and indoor games such as badminton and table tennis. Inter-department and inter-college tournaments are conducted regularly. Cultural activities like dance, music, drama, and debate are encouraged through events and clubs. There are several student-run technical clubs, cultural clubs, and social groups, including coding clubs, robotics clubs, cultural committees, and NSS units. These clubs play an important role in improving teamwork, leadership skills, and peer interaction. Student portals and WhatsApp/online groups are actively used for communication, updates, and collaboration. To name some anti drug club, challengers, dreamers, sosc etc these are some clubs.

Admission

When I was applying for colleges, I explored a mix of government and private engineering colleges offering BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). I received confirmed admission offers from a few private colleges, but I ultimately chose this college because it felt like the best overall fit for my academic goals, affordability, and learning environment. And another reason was it is nearer to my home as well. Basically rejection is based on cet ranks. And it works in the same way most prestigious colleges give admissions to lowest cet rank holders. The admission process of this college was smooth. Eligibility: Minimum 60% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics Exams accepted: KCET Cutoffs: Moderate cutoffs compared to government colleges, varying by category and branch Admission Modes: Entrance exam counselling and management.

Faculty

4

Reasonable interaction is made possible by the faculty-to-student ratio of roughly 1:15–20. The majority of instructors are personable, encouraging, and receptive to questions both during and after class. Mentorship is offered, particularly for assignments and tests. I can't name a single professor but there was a professor who used to teach vlsi to us she was very nice and taught complex topics in a very simple way that i used to struggle to learn on my own. There was a faculty for pcb design who didn't teach us about pcb design. We on ourselves leant it. He used to not come to class also. Thankfully he left the college. Each subject usually has three internal exams and one end-semester university exam during the academic year. Tests, assignments, lab performance, and attendance are all included in internal assessment. The tests are moderately challenging and emphasize conceptual comprehension over memorization.

Night Life

4

Night life is quiet inside the canpus after 7pm. However the college woll be open for 24hrs and we are allowed to work 24 hrs inside the college for our projects. Hostel timing is the students must be inside the hostel before 6.30 to 7pm. Famous hangout spots are Pogo which is a cafe, eatopia which is also a cafe and tandoor restaurant.
