Life At NIT Raipur

The academic program of nit raipur not only gives a very firm grounding in basic engineering concepts but also makes the students quite competitive at Gate and ies benchmarks. there is still a clear need for industry ready practical application to be a bit more integrated with the depth of of academica .one of the ways to help students cope with this very tiring syllabus. teacher's should interat witth students like human they treat us as a machine just give us assignment and homework dont focus on practical teaching they focus on they memorising the concept like a robot .they dont give gap between exams , which is so exhausting for us leads to heavy academic pressure and kills our curiousity about science and engineering .

there are internship opportunities in our college .students can pursue internship in our college if they want in the vacations . our seniors is doing internship at IITs also . sp yes it provide internsip opportunities.

seventh semester is the semester from when students can eligible for campus placements . google , microsoft , nvidia , meta , tcs , tesla , wipro , lg , sony , sumsung , apple , tata steel , jindal and lots of other companies i can't name all of them here . heighest package was 80 lakh and average package was 12 lakh per annum. lots of students get placed but some of them want to do higher studies and some go for goverment job but placement percentage is approx 85% in campus . i want to do higher studies in biotechnology after compeleting my btech degree from famous universities .

At My College Fee Structure is very simple . even though the expenses are graudally accumulating significantly . As an ordinary student ,i pay the amount of 7000 each semester which makes my total academic cost for a year 140000. The approximate total for the whole four-year program comes to around 592000 , provided there no major increases in our course .when looking at the detailed fee structure , my tution fees is 62k and 8k for other charges , including exam fee ,library fee etc. The fee structure based on category wise my friends belongs to st/sc, does not have to pay any tution fee , they are only charged about 8k every semester . there lots goverment and private scholarship available based on both merit and annual income , also state and central scholarships are available and special scholarships for girls also .

Electrica , samar and avantram are some fest of my college , mostly in jan to april . with library card we can get any book from library to study at home . ac, fan, tube light , big benches , projector and lots of other necessary items . sports facility is good due to sports club shourya and sports complex and big cricket ground , volleyball ground , badminton cort, football ground etc. many clubs/communities like E-cell,I-cell, motorsports, robotics, nritayam, shourya etc. helps in extracurriculum activities .

i applied for nit kurukshetra but i was interested in biotechnology engineering that's why i choose nit raipur biotech, i choose this college over nit kurukeshetra because it has no biotech degree . yes, i got rejection from many college like nit trichy, nit suratkal , mnit allahabad due to my not good rank for these colleges and branch i want , as such nothing wrong happened just my rank was low for these colleges . Anyone get addmission in my college via jee main and counselling like jossa and csab then lock your seat pay fees for addminison , document verification and get addmission ............. cuttoff for other state General = 95% EWS/obc = 94%tile sc/st = 85%tile pwd = no idea

My college has many highly educated and talented faculties . Many of them are graduated from IITs And NITs . There Are Lots of faculties in our college , we can say that 1 Faculty per 10 to 20 students .Faculties are good at teaching . Dr. priyanka sahare (Physics ) ,Dr. MUkul Chandrakar (M1) , Dr. Anita Murmu (DS), Trishna Mam(BBS),DR. Shweta N(BBS),DR.Jaya Sharma(Cp), Are my favorite faculties cause they know how to teach from basic to advance level , makes us industry ready . Dr. Vedika Dhiman (BBS Lab) Were The Mam who i didn't like because She has lots of ego and Didn't think about student level of knowledge. There Are 2 exams ,Mid Sem Exams and End Sem exam per semester. The Mid SEm is of 30 marks and end sem is of 50 marks , Mid sem is easier as compared to end sem . 15 students got supple in our class.

gym is there but open only for 2hr. in evening beacause of lot of rush we are not able to do excercise in our gym there is two cafeterias bihan and pie chai food is decent , central garden and left garden is good for public interaction . gate closing time of hostel is 8:30 pm , which is not good .
