Course Curriculum Overview

My decision to choose this course was influenced by Core subject like OS, DBMS, DSA. While the curriculum builds a strong theoretical foundation, it lacks slightly in real world application. areas of improvement i will suggest is theory to practical based.

Internships Opportunities

Local IT company from jamshedpur like IT Solution, Paul Tech, Cyber Help India, Infinite Solution comes for our internship. roles like web dev, app dev, data science, ai/ml, graphic designers, often unpaid intership but if you are extra ordinary in tech you will get around 5 to 10k per month

Placement Experience

Placements start 6th semester. Companies TCS, Wipro, Deloitte and local companies. Average package is 4 to 5 LPA. I plan to work as a full stack web developer or i will also apply off campus for better softer roles.

Fees and Financial Aid

1ST YEAR : 70K, 2ND YEAR: 70K, 3RD YEAR: 70K, 4TH YEAR:70K ( this is for tuition fee,lab fees, caution fees) registration fee is 2k one time in 4th years. admission fees in 5k exam fee is 3k E-Kalyan/NSP Scholarship is available.

Campus Life

Campus life is enjoyable, cultural fests like explores happen in december winter season. the library has more than 10k plus book, classroom is well cleand and AC, FAN, well desk. Actives Tech club of our university is E-Cell.

Admission

I choose Netaji subhas university for location, it's nearby from my home town. I missed Nits due to my JEE Rank. Admission here is direct based on 12th maarks. the process is very simple and hassle free.

Faculty

more then 250 faculty for allmost 5000 students. some faculty is kind nature some behvaiour is rudely. mr. sawroop sir is best maths teacher in my university. he is hod of maths department. internal and external exam held in one semester. 5 to 10 percente student failed in sem exam.

Night Life

In night you can not go outside from hostel you have to come inside hostel, attendance is taken by warden at 7pm everyday. you can only roam in hostel not out side. nearby dhaba of smosa chat, panipuri are popular.

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass

I choosed NSU jamshedpur mainly because of its fees structure. I applied for many colleges but non of them were giving me worth as of NSU. NSU provide s free bus to all students and its fees structure is also very good so that will help me save some money and time.
