Remarks

The college offers a very good opportunity in terms of academics and is very conducive for enriching one's knowledge the management is decent and will hear the complaints or problems students might have proper time management would allow one to develop hi

Entrance Preview

I took up the common law admission test (CLAT) in 2012 It is an entrance exam for nationallaw schools across the country and is meant for law aspirants. It is taken up after Standard 12 since this is a meritocratic entrance test, students are allocatted colleges as per their choices my score was 134/200 and the available collge according to my preference was NLU Jodhpur.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The college provides 3 combinations of UG courses, B.A. LL.B, B.B.A. LL.B, B. Sc. LL.B one could opt for either of these courses the stream courses would be taught till the end of the 3rd year and subsequently, only law courses.

Internships Opportunities

The college does not host any internship program as such however, there is an placement committee that facilitates the students' internships by applying to their places of preference.

College Events

3.5

The college is host to 2 big fests NH65, a lit cul fest and Yuvardha, a sports fest both these fests are hosted alternatively apart from these fests, there are several programs orgranized by the committees.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The annual charges of a law student at NLU Jodhpur ranges anywhere between Rs. 1, 40, 000 Rs. 1, 50, 00 exclusive of the mess charges this amount is split between 2 semesters.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college does not offer any scholarship as far as I am aware however, minority groups can offer scholarships under their repsective state minority departments.

Campus Life

3.5

The college has a very good system of mooting and debating our college has excelled at various competitions, both nationally and internationally the general atmosphere prevalent in college is free of all forms of discrimination and gender/sexual orientation prejudices.

Hostel Facilities

4

We have separate girls' and boys' hostels these hostels have single rooms with balconies which makes our residence very comfortable the hostel charges are between Rs. 12000 Rs. 15000 we have canteens and not a mess system. We need to pay for rach meal. T

Alumni/Alumna

Our alumni are seen to be occupying some top positions in law firms and have excelled in other fields as well they are generally quite helpful and offer advise whenever needed.

Exam Structure

The exams are slightly hectic a 100 mark paper of a subject is divided into 50 marks end semester exams and 50 marks internals which comprise of regular class tests, CREs and projects. Thus, these internals take up quite some time of a student.

Faculty

3

The faculty quality has begun to deteriorate as the old professors are leaving college the college could do with better standards of faculty the teaching is quite alright.

Placement Experience:

The most of the studnets start getting placements from last year and start preparing for it from the previuos year as they diffrent companies come and ask for interveiws the student who intrested in placements is needed to be given interveiw and the campus place are average as the minnmun package is also 4 lakhs. There are very big companies visited such as samsung and google which offered the highest placement in 2023 of 47.6 lakh as so many offers also made with a 100% gurantee placement. The highest package til date is 47.6 lakh and the average package is 4 lakhs with good and reputated companies. There is 100% placeement gurantted by the university as at the time of placement the students who wish to sit n the placements can sit and most of them are placed as AMITY as highest placemnt recored among all university in Jaipur. My plans after this degree is to give judicial services exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

Thr curriculum is designed in a way as a usual law college but the benefit of this college is that we have legal aid clinic , which the students have the opportunity to join. In curriculum we also have variety of electives till 4th yearof college. Which i think is good as students might get the opportunity to explore other subjects related to law and not related to law. The exams are held twice a semester and the difficulty level depends upon the faculty setting the question paper. Usually the difficulty level is of othe law universities. For improvement wise i dont have any suggestions

Placement Experience:

Placements from the campus for law students is not that good and honestly I don't think the student should rely on the campus placements instead they can participate in different events and improve their CV for getting a good job . The internships play a vital role in the career of a law students . Law students mainly focus on the judiciary exams and if not that then they can go for the corporate sector or litigation after that . Else they can also prepare for other exams such as UPSC or also go for higher education
