LPU Through My Eyes – Campus, Classes, and Beyond

Another factor that made me decide to take it was its integrated nature, giving me the opportunity to mix both humanities courses (Political Science, Sociology, and Economics) with the basic course in law Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Contract, and CPC/CrPC. This multidisciplinary method assists in developing good powerful analytical and critical-thinking abilities, which are vital to legal study. The curriculum equips students to real-world practice in law and to their further studies too as it includes such practical elements as moot courts, drafting, case analysis, internships, client counselling, and legal aid clinics. Practical knowledge and litigation preparedness is improved through exposure to extant statutes and historic case law, either in litigation or judicial or post-university legal education such as LL.M. and bar examination. Nevertheless, one can enhance the curriculum, which consists of revising the topics of some of the subjects more regularly, more practical training, more interactive teaching, which can be the live case simulations, visiting the court, and the use of technologies in conducting legal research. The exams are regular, and there are mid-term and end-term exams which are organized. Although the level of difficulty is medium and challenging, it is a decent way to challenge the clarity of concepts and the level of knowledge in practice, which stimulates the regular involvement in studying.

As overall if I talk about the internship opportunities then various companies come in various departments like microsoft and etc and in law field the companies which come are fourfold, trilegal ,khaitan and Khaitan etc .

According to my information, from 4 th year that is 7 th semester we are eligible for campus placement but for that we have to enroll in placement preparation in which they prepare the students for the placement drive . My plans is not for campus placement after my course I will go into litigation and practice for my judiciary exams and after that my backup is for llm.

I have enrolled in a course Ballb ( hons ) and the entire Fee structure for the 5 year without the scholarship was Rs 1200000 and if we give the Scholarship test which is LPUNEST then according to the marks the fee has to be paid i have given the test and I got 60% scholarship then my per year fee was 120000 and total fee was 600000. The examination fee of rs 3000 has to be paid along with the semester fees.

There is one huge festival held at lpu that is one world it is a cultural festival which promotes global diversity throught traditional dance, musical performance. It promotes a theme that is vasudhaiva kutumbakam which means the world is one family .there is smart class room facilities . There are various society in my block like there is legal aid society, moot court society, placement and internship society and many other. And in recent university is providing facilities that is edu rev in which we are been given an opportunity to have real world experience and for which we are being given academic benefits for it.

I chose Lovely Professional University for my over other colleges due to its expansive campus, practical training focus, and strong placements. I have also given various entrances exams like for BHU, CLAT FOR NLUS but unfortunately because of lack of preparation and time I was not able to crack entrances.

The faculty members of my college are very much supportive. They are always ready to answer and explain each and every doubt even if we ask the same doubt multiple times . The best thing is that they are always ready to help explain or they themselves say that even if you have any doubt you are welcome . In my course my all the facilities are very much supportive and of helping nature. As my course is of 5 year and we have 10 semesters so per semester we have two exams the one is mid term of 40 marks and end term of 70 marks and in per semester we have to submit three assignments of 30 marks.

In our campus all types of facilities are being provided like we have uni mall in which we have gym facilities , cafeteria , clothing , accessories, electronics and all sort of facilities . The day scholars can remain in college till 7 pm and hostellers if they have to stay outside any night then they have to get permission from the authorities.
