About My college

Some positive fact of our college that our faculty is very experience and well structural. Our professors also very well experienced. We have a very big college area with free space. But some negative fact.that they never took exam in proper time & never give out results in properly.they need to some development on library & and also in Departmental laboratory room.

I think the course curriculum is very good & we study our course in English medium but as we most are from bengali medium school so in the begin time it was Very difficult to study in English medium. But now a days it is fine to us. #Exam structure :- our course divided into 3 year & it is not semester type.

Their is no placements or job opportunities for students , only they help in to complete our honours degree. And also there is no options for internship. As it is a government college , the college authority just help in get the scholarship from the govt. Otherwise they did not give any stipend in any course of this college.

Events we celebrate like (1) teachers day (2) Independent day on 15th August. (3) Saraswati puja (4) Holi etc. And also we were celebrated platinum Jubilee on 75th years of establish of our college , we also Department wise celebrate freshers day for newly admitted students & farewell for 3rd year students who will complete their degree.

Fees structure is nearly feasible. It not too much for rural students. Our total course fees we give into 3 years of during course. Every year we give about nearly 4000 to 4500 rupees for renewal the admission( variable for every Department). It is just admission fees. We Also give Examination fees during our final exam time in every year. The fees about 800 to 1500 (variable for every Department)

This college have not give any scholarship from their college fund. But they afford some poor students college fees. They just help to get scholarship from our state & central government. Their is not options for getting educational loan or any others loan.

Our college is very good in some extracurricular activities comparing to the other college of our University. In every year we all Departments take participants in model exhibition. And some time our Department go out in rally like health consciousness , Agriculture consciousness etc. Basically lab facilities available for only science students. Sports activity is really notable of Our college. Cricket , football ,badminton this type of sports we usually play.

I did not stay in hostel. Soo i don't now about hostel infrastructure. But my some friends stay in hostel.so i can rate about their opinion. They said that the hostel building is not good enough ,little bit old type. But the security level is very good for every boys & girls hostel.

Our alumni network is so strong. Because of every year we invite our alumni in Re-Union program in every Department. Always they motivated us , they teach us the way they behaved in this college , In personally our Department (Zoology) have some greatest alumni like scientists in USA ,Uk some professor in our entire country. So they always helpful for us.

At first i apply for admission in this college on online after completing my higher secondary. Then the college authority published a draft merit list basis on mark of higher secondary & the mark of particular subject which i choosed for take admission. After getting place on merit list they verified my original document related to my previous academic score & and my identity. After verification the give me admission on this college.

From my opinion the faculty of our college is pretty good. We have one principal on our college & every Department have 2 to 4 permanent professors & 2 to 5 part timers. And we almost have about 40 others college stuff like on office stuff , librarian , guard , lab assistance etc.
