Placement Oriented Academics

Management is always concerned for getting students placed. They do a lot of effort behind us. Placement specific classes, grooming classes are a reason of good placement in our university. I would like to thank god for getting me into an university like GLA which has helped me a lot to grow my skills and knowledge. Their are many negative aspects too but for me it was ok. Firstly University is in Mathura so you cannot think a life similar to students of delhi and Bangalore. University is located 18 Km away from the city so their is no nearby place to chill and hangout exept a few which are their. Mandatory attendence criteria of 75% and for few 85% is a huge burden for students these days. Lot of assignment quizzes exams will make you get frustrated at one point of time.

Course curriculum is updated every year depending on the government norms and industry requirements. Many good features like CPCS(Choice based credit system) have been introduced which helps students to study the subject which students wants and not the useless subjects of other engineering branches. Each semester is divided in 3 module first two module have 15 marks weightage each while the last module comprises of 50 marks. These 3 module comprises of 80 marks and remaining 20 marks are internal marks depends on your attendance, your quiz results your behaviour etc.

Good placement opportunities in many of the MNC's like TCS, ACCENTURE, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, INFOSYS. Apart from that there are plenty of core companies that visit the campus. You are not restricted to only 1 job opportunity. If you are an non cs or it student then you can sit for both it n core company. If u get placed in an IT company still you will get chance to sit in your core company. If i talk about my placement record i am an ece graduate i got placed in wipro, Sify technologies (core) as well as Robert Bosch (core).

Their are lots of events that is carried out throughout the year. Many cultural, sports, educational fests are organised like Maintree, Spandan, E- canclave, Kratikala and different international conferences. Apart from this their are numerous clubs and societies which organises several events every next day.

Fee per year for btech students is 1.5 lakhs but it differs if you want to pursue some specialisation course like IOT, ML, CLOUD, AI. These courses fee are 1.9 lakhs per year. But if have good marks in class 12 and good marks in JEE mains exam then you get handsome scholarships According to the university norms.

Scholarship for students who have good marks in PCM in class 12th. Scholarship for students who have good JEE marks. Scholarship for rank holders who top in their respective departments. U.P government scholarship (Samaj kanlay scholarship) who's parents are below poverty line can easily be available.

Different department specific innovation labs are set up like for ECE department we have LABVIEW ACADEMY, TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INNOVATION LAB and Sap-Robotics Lab. Apart from this our department has cadens lab, matlab lab, ADS lab and Advanced Electronics lab. Every department has its own such labs which helps in practical approach towards learning and innovative ideas. University has central sports team of Basketball, football, Cricket, Badminton, Table tennis and each team has a respective coach. Every department has its own society and clubs which helps students to increase their management as well as technical skills depending upon their interest. University has central society E-cell which help students to find and grow an entrepreneur within him/her.

Hostel and mess facility are way better than any other college in the UP region. Food is healthy and good. Mess is run in no profit no loss basis. You will have to pay for what you have taken. Hostel charge is 45k to 80k depends on the type of accomodation you want like single, double, Ac, non Ac etc. Mess charge is 32k.

University emphasis a lot in developing good relationship with their alumni students as they are their best assets for them. Many alumni meet with the director are organised in different regions so that alumni network remains strong which in turn helps to increase placements apart from this University has also started a new programme in which they award the parents of the students for giving them such a good student to the University who has taken the name of the university in stars.

You can fill the admission form in the nearest admission centre they will give you the date of examination. On the date you need to report at that centre only they will assign you some pc, you will hv a 180 min paper. After you give your exam wait for few times they will give you your result and then you can opt for the stream you want to take admission into. Getting the desired stream depends on availability of seats and your score in online exam. If u are unable to find a admission centre near you then you can fill a query form in the website www.gla.ac.in. Any representative from the University will call you when he receives your query or you can directly visit the campus and clear exam there and take admission on the same day.

Many of them are from IIT and NIT and are mostly experienced person from their respective fields. It depends on the department which you want to go. Lab technicians with good experience and knowledge are there who can help you in increasing your practical approach towards projects.
