Course curriculum as a whole is perfect for students as 2 years ago whole course was upgraded and rearranged for the ease of students preparing for GATE or CAT or any other competitive exam after BE.New subjects such as ECONOMICS were added to the course.

College internship experience is not as expected because there is not any definite procedure for internship of students for 2nd year. Teachers hand over a list of reputed companies in which we can work as intern and student themselves have to visit the Training and Placement Officer of company to ask for training. But in 4th year a student can take internship in company in which he/she gets placed.

There are lot of jobs and placement offers for students of CSE and IT and not much options for Mechanical and EEE students though off-campus placement for them are also satisfactory here is a list of companies,their package and list of no of students placed during last year name of package no of recruiter (Rs. in lacs) Student Unisys 5.50 03 Zs, Associates 5.50 04, Zscaler 7.00 02, Aricent 3.50 34, Deloitte 5.35 07, Tech Mahindra 3 00 02, Code Bibber 4.00 01, Gemini Solutions 5.83 03, Chicmic 3.80 01 Musigma, 4.50 07 Naggaro 3.50 02, Infosys 3.25 26, Effectual Services 1.20 03, Uno Solution 1.20 02 .

In odd sem there is one technical fest called AAVISHKAR and in even sem there is cultural fest called GOONJ. Both the fests are generally of 3 days in AAVISHKAR there are events like robowars,submerged, roboball, hackathon,LAN gaming etc with some fun events. In GOONJ there events like solo dance,group dance, singing, rock band, war of DJ, EDM night and Star night last year bollywood singer FALAK was the main attraction of star night there are aslo some national level conferences and fests such as UDYAMI to enhance the entrepreneur skills in students.

Since UIET is a self financed Government institution, Fee structure is somewhat expensive but affordable during starting of session we have to submit Rs. 45000 and in Next sem we have to submit around Rs.30000 as tuition Fees and Rs.1700 as examination fee each year around rs.12000-15000 are charged as hostel fees and refundable securities. Mess and canteen charge is charged monthly from hostel residents.

There is scholarship for Economically weaker section students whose family's income is below 1 Lac P.A. and for SC/ST students whose parents are not in govt job at the time of admission one has to submit corresponding certificate to avail scholarship.

In campus there is about 60:40 ratio of boys to girls in hostels there are generally two festivals each year one is at the beginning of the session for freshers and one at the end of session as farewell to seniors there is one annual sports meet in which teachers also participate along with students a whole lot of facilities are there for students interested in sports and games time to time there are inter branch and inter hostel competitions for sports there are also university election for campus president post each year which is the most joyful time of year. This period of 1 month of election campaigns is also referred to as election festival. Overall environment is joyful and enjoyable.

Hostel facilities and mess food are satisfactory there is one canteen and 2 Messes in each hostel two messes are there for competition and quality food supply. There is a fixed Menu which is changed after a specific period and food quality is satisfactory

For the Alumni network and contact with passout students there is one special committee dedicated for this work only called as STAR (Student Team for Alumni Relations). This committee comprises of students as well as teachers of all branches who coordinate with each other to have regular contact and update the information about placement and Promotion of every single alumni.

Time table and schedule of labs are perfect each lab is of 2-3 hours depending upon the subject and on each working day there is only one lab students have access to all labs during any hour of the day even if there is no scheduled lab exam pattern is som

Faculty of UIET is perfect as all the teachers and professors are either Post Graduate, Research Scholars and Ph.D holders so they have deep understanding of their subject.
