Course Curriculum Overview
Yes, it is based on the curriculum. Teachers are helpful and they try to teach us in the best way they can but so far through reviews of different students and my opinion there is a lack of practical knowledge given by JMI BBA staff. They focus more on theoretical knowledge rather than practical.
Placement Experience
Placement cell is new and not related to our University. It is a self-made group which brings companies for internships and placements.
College Events
There are a lot of fests and events conducted not as like Delhi University but ya there are like Tedx etc. Children also try to make teams for Sports week. Sports in JMI is too active. Football, cricket and various more events are conducted for students.
Fees and Financial Aid
For awaiting scholarship or educational loan. One has to go to administration or Deen and write an application to apply.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is poor. There is no discrimination on the basis of gender but boys are like 80-85% and girls are 15-20 % which is quite low. Sports in JMI is quite good. There is a sports complex and quite a good gym which is only for hostel students.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, alumni and seniors are helpful. Seniors help us and send us various information that is beneficial for us. Seniors have also made a site for notes which is beneficial
Admission
I got admission through an entrance test conducted by Jamia Milia Islamia. This test is based on aptitude which has logical reasoning, General English, mathematics and General Awareness. General awareness contains 40% weightage. This exam is conducted to take admission in BA Eco Hons, Bcom Hons and BBA.
Faculty
Faculty is good and helpful. But there is a lot of strictness like if a child wants to change their course. They can't just because of their strictness and computer-based strategy.
