- The campus is very big and beautiful. Especially during Autumn season it looks heaven.
- The quality of education is also good as compared to other private law colleges with high fees .
- Canteen food is so good. Every dept . Has its own canteen.
Dislikes
- Campus is so big that there is no fascility of inside transportation for students .
- In a day 7-8 classes are scheduled with break of 30 mins only.
Course Curriculum Overview
Subjects like BNS earlier IPC , constitutional law, Jurisprudence, IT law, Industrial law, Law of Torts, Criminology are being taught in first semester. These subjects lays the basis of law students to further understanding.
Internships Opportunities
For law students its upto them when they want to do internship like they can do it from ghe beginning of course during vacations, but it becomes cumpolsory to do internship in final year of course. Student s are eligible for moot court from their 2 year
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fee is 10,745 Rs. For LLB student and if he / wants to reside in a hostel provided by university , the annual fee is 28000 for a year . In hostel food and other substances are provided like room heater in winter and beds etc. On joining the university campus 500 Rs .are asked to submit in office as a charge of migration fee submission. Different scholarships are provided toEWS, ST, SC. Out of rest 22 seats are reserved for different categories
Campus Life
Campus life is over all the best in whole J&K. i have went to DU for my bachelor's but UOK has the beautiful and big campus . Every year a trip goes for any particular place. For that students ate said to submit some amount fo rupee. All LLB and BA llb students goes for it!. For LLB students who want to get their vehicle inside the campus has to fill form with license and RC of the vehicle after 1 year . Before thet yoi cant apply.
Admission
I didn't apply for any college. I straight through went to KU for an entrance and after qualifying i got an opportunity to enroll myself in LLB. Entrance exam is of 60 marks with 60 question. Each question of 1 mark. For per wrong answer the negative mark is.0.25. And the timing of exam is 60 mins.
Faculty
The professor teaching Law are overall good, highly qualified. They try to give knowledge beyond the books and teaches how things actually work in practical. For like in first semester there are seven subjects with seven different teachers . Average students roll goes upto 55-60 max-65. There are faculty members like prof. Iftikhar , prof. Yasir, Prof. Yaseen, prof. Asima mam, prof yasir abbas and many more who are excellent in teaching and are really a helping hamd to students. LLB is a course of 3 years with 2 semester per year .exam is overall of medium difficulty level. The sudents who prepare from beginning have a good hold on exam.
Night Life
UOK has no night life . As only women hostel is inside the campus and rest of the hostel are nearby 2 km. Where all other student reside. The timing of closing the hostel for women is maybe 6 PM. Adn for men the timing id 8PM. University has Gym with mothly fee of 500 . And has cafeterias all inside campus. Every year festivals like Chirgish are concluded for student of LAW.
