Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are not so tough but they are in just every 2-3 weeks so students can't enjoy any trip in the pressure of exams.... Lab exam will be done by pen drive mostly.... Very bad experience as compared to Indian institute

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester 177400 fees.... And no other facilities.... Scholarship is only for sc st students or the students whose parents are not in govt job NSP available and other state scholarship also available

Campus Life

There are so strict rules and regulations for every small mistakes.... Very bad experience.... Everytime get 10k fine on everything it's the minimum fine . No sports facilities only one ground which is used as football volleyball and cricket also!!!!

Admission

I chooses this college after looking out for review and in the name of Indian institute only. The average package is shown wrong on the website of the institute. Here's I get very early reality check. They don't have any facilities

Faculty

There are 3 assessments and 2 lab exams and one final end sem examination. I don't like faculties cause they just come and scroll the ppt or pdf and just read it out in the name of teaching. Faculty to students relations are also not so good.

Night Life

No nightlife in this college.... No one can go out after 8pm in night if anyone found late then he'll either be suspended or be fined as 10k or above Many times can't even go to others rooms But many students use drugs also in the bathroom in night

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average and mostly theory-based. Core CS subjects are covered, but practical learning, updated content, and flexible electives are limited, so we students must rely on self-study. And the exams are also monthly so you have to work on your own to study.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is quite wonderful filled with up and downs. We have lot of theoretical knowledge with many difficult fruits in Maths and physics. This is good and bad at the same time which improve server by hurting skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The good side is the academics: CSE covers programming, operating systems, algorithms, AI, NLP, databases and related math, with regular curriculum updates in consultation with industry. ECE (including VLSI & Embedded Systems) includes communication systems, control, image processing, CMOS design, IoT, ML and AI, with strong emphasis on labs and projects. Recent placement data shows an overall placement rate around 80–85%, with CSE doing better than ECE, and a highest package near 40 LPA and average around 8–9 LPA for 2024, which is solid for a young IIIT. The transit campus at Mantripukhri still has essentials like Wi?Fi campus, library, labs, auditorium, hostels, faculty housing and playgrounds.

The worst iiit in entire india

Placement Experience:

We are juniors so we really dont know about the placements no faculty told how much average what is the highest placement and we himself didnt ask seniors about the placements also in website they mention it is 9 lacks average but we dont the reality inside

Placement Experience:

I am a first year student so I have a limited knowledge about this , pehaps from 6th 7th semester you become eligible for placements , Deloitte and other companies , highest is 45 lakhs , median is around 13 to 14 lakhs. Percentage of students placement is low , I don't know the exact number. My plans after this I don'ts even know.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum and the teaching method is good but according to our education system it follws the old teaching style, teachers are good though. Here in the campus we have many restrictions thats not good at all.

I got confirmed admission from KIET Ghaziabad, but chose IIIT Manipur mainly for the IIIT tag. Admission was through JEE Main via JoSAA. I couldn’t get better IIITs due to rank. But if i get the choice to choose that again i will choose any private instute over this because of the location limitations and many other things like fees of herer is far more than most of the private institutes and bettr campus life there is more better than in manipur location and the connictivity of here is also difficult....Read More

Student Life at Iiit manipur and college facilities.

This college rank in csab very low and other colleges for same rank are much perfer but in IIIT manipur it gives cse and ece courses for low rank near to 2 lakh in csab. Admission process is very lengthy and so much taking time because it done for over 550 students only in 2 days and also alloting hostel at same time so it too much lengthy and very headache...Read More
