Remarks
The college is one of the top ranked engineering college in Kerala with well occupied infrastructures and placement supports. It is the only college which has seven NBA accredited engineering courses. The MCA and MBA programmes are also NBA accredited.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University , Kerala. Examination conducted in the college itself in every semester. One semester may contain four to five months.There were four semesters for me since I took lateral entry. Evaluation is best and It's important for the university to make pass for right students only.
Placement Experience
The college provides placement support from various IT company's including mnc's. Last year Infosys itself placed 141 students from the college. The college has a placement cell who will provide training also.
College Events
The college conducts big cultural fest's in every year and also conducts sports activities and technical activities. The college is well known in Kerala state for it's annual techno cultural fest named Nakshathra
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's feasible for a post graduate course when comparing to other states. One semester may cost of rupees 35000 to 40000. The college value for money and provides all the facilities from theri side for students. The college also provide scholarships for well studying students.
Fees and Financial Aid
College offers scholarship for students who are brilliant in accadamics. College has its own scholarship formalities. Also they are supportive for the low middle class students also. College offers scholarship for tribal students also. And also they provide support to the scholarships provided by central and state government.
Campus Life
The college has well occupied labs for every course. Basically it's a engineering college and it is one of the top ranked college in Kerala. So it is absolutely occupied with all lab facilities for all the departments. College also provide support for sports and other extra curricular activities.
Hostel Facilities
The college has a brilliant hostel which contains four blocks. There are 600 students approximately in the men's hostel. Hostel offers shared and single rooms. Veg and non veg food also available. It's a well cleaned well maintained hostel by the college. There are wardens for every block. Also they provide college ambulance in emergency. The same facilities are also available in ladies hostel too.
Alumni/Alumna
We have alumni network in social medias. College also conducts alumni meets. Seniors supported for job placement. We made strong bond with seniors though over yearly festivals and through hostel life.
Admission
I got the admission to the above mentioned course by attending MCA entrance examination for Kerala. The college is a self finance college. After completed the entrance I directly approached the college and I got admission to the 2 year lateral entry course after a simple interview. The college is only one who has NBA accreditation for the MCA course now in Kerala.
Faculty
The college occupied with well experienced teachers.Most of the teachers are doctorates in different subjects. They are supportive for all curriculum activities. Also the college provides all the facilities for a student to become succeed in his or her life.
