Faculty is good and teaches well also the environment is cooperative
Campus is also big and open which is considered as a good thing
Cooperative teachers and other faculty members

Library has old books with topics missing from them
Location is quite okay and not secure enough
Canteen food is overpriced and requires the amount to be decreased

Course Curriculum Overview

This college MAIMS provides the Best BBA course among all the IPU colleges and is famous for it. I was suggested to opt for bba from this college and. Teaching methods are okay but notes of some subjects should be provided early not one day before exam...and intact one also has okayish notes which are very complex and exaggerated

Internships Opportunities

I have heard only about the summer internship from my friends and I don't know about other college internships ...I'm currently searching for one to improve my skills. Semester 2 has just started and our hunt for the internships too

Placement Experience

The placements are good ...5-6 lakhs Per annum but a course and an internship is necessary these days because skills matter more than the cgpa and I have heard summer internship is provided here which is a good way to opt some skills

Fees and Financial Aid

1st year costed 150000 for Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and it will decrease with the last 2 years. Scholarship was only provided to the SC, ST. Many people have come to this college on the basis of management quota.

Campus Life

Campus is quite big and open with lifts and projectors and labs are quite good. The society here I think is of no use and I believe they don't help in personality development. I'm in 3 societies and all of them only give the tasks that require to follow people or societies on Instagram and linkedIn THAT'S IT!! Nothing new.

Admission

I wished to go to top colleges of DU and also applied in the single girl child quota there but couldn't make it but I gave IPU CET and I scored well and got admission into MAIMS. I was rejected from CHRIST UNIVERSITY, BANGALORE CAMPUS but it's okay. One day was given to report and submit the fees here and start the college

Faculty

Faculty members are cooperative and friendly. Internal exams are of 40 marks including the paper given and class performance of the student and external exams are of 60 marks which makes a total of 100 for each subject

Interview Experience

Yes an exam was taken named IPU CET and I scored a rank of 2373 out of 14000+ students and the exam consisted of maths , english , general knowledge and quantitative aptitude questions . Exam was easy if we have studied for it

Night Life

I have not stayed here at night but the area surrounding the college is not safe at night and a hospital and some confectionery shops are there. The college has a boys hostel. No hangout places are there...it's Rithala guys

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Maims college detailed review

Placement Experience:

The placement in my college for my course BBA pretty good. The college is also Offers internship opportunities. We can expect an average package of around 3 to 4 lakhs per annum for BBA. The students become eligible for campus placements from fourth semester onward. Some of the companies that have visited our colleges include KPMG Deloitte. The education tree, the highest package that someone got from our college was of around 60 lakhs and the profile offered to him was in finance. Placement Experience:

Well the placement of this campus are not as good as the other colleges well most of the student opt of further education while the one who don't go for post graduation would get an estimate of 300000 per annum well my plans after graduation is to do post graduation which is MBA.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell in my college. There are students who call companies to come for the placements. I there are teachers too in the placement cell. But the placement record is not good. In previous years the highest placement hit was 22 lakh in my course . But the ratio of students getting placements is very few.

mostly 3rd year students sits for placements , offers are given yet they are low from market and not vast in numbers too , i dont remember any major company that joined the placement drive its mostly local startups and companies and they dont support us doing interships so its really hard in bms to get placements as it just not possible

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

The infrastructure is decent with well maintained classrooms, libraries and computer labs.
