Course Curriculum Overview
I compared it with Chandigarh University and the reviews about this college were good ya it has many more restriction compared to other colleges but the academic is good the curriculum focused primarily on practical knowledge thus every student from my batch who are working in an company as an intern has recieved ppo offer , the core subjects which are taught by professor can be improved as the quality of professors are not that good although the technical stuff is taught by professional trainers who are highly skilled and knowledgeable exams are frequent like every 2 months we get internals and all that
Internships Opportunities
Various companies come for campus drive they pick their candidates and make them work on their personal project, we get opportunity for all fields ,tech or non tech whichever u want to go ,if u satisfy the eligibility criteria u can apply for that company
Placement Experience
The placements are good ,if u study well u can easily get an offer some big companies include unicommerce, snap deal , myntra ,go daddy , fico , highest package was around 45lpa domestic and average is around 5-7 lpa 70-80% students get placed if unplaced college provide industrial training and few get placed there ,the students here get eligible for placement since 6th semester
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of the course is semester-based and includes academic fees and hostel fees, payable every semester. For our batch, the fees remained constant throughout the course, although for later batches the fees have been increased. Academic Fees Academic (Tuition) Fee: ?85,000 per semester This amount covered: Tuition fees Registration fees Admission fees Development fees Lab fees Other compulsory academic charges There were no separate caution fees charged to our batch. Although the academic fee for our batch stayed fixed at ?85,000 per semester, the institute increased the academic fees by around ?40,000–?50,000 per year for subsequent batches. Hostel Fees Hostel Fee: ?70,000 per semester for our batch Hostel fees include: Room rent Maintenance charges Basic facilities The hostel fee was lower for earlier batches, starting at around ?60,000 per semester, and has been increasing by approximately ?5,000 per year for newer batches. Total Fee for the Complete Course Academic Fee (per year): ?1,70,000 Hostel Fee (per year): ?1,40,000 Total Fee (per year): ?3,10,000 The total fee for the complete course depends on the course duration, but for our batch, the overall cost remained stable as there were no mid-course fee hikes.
Campus Life
The campus life is overall good the campus is clean but the cons is top much crowd like crowd to area ratio is very bad wherever u see u will always see 100+ students in sight ,there are various clubs ,events and sports activities going around campus almost every week ,the infrastructure is good we have an proper ios lab setup in campus
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility was pretty good ,clean hostel good food ,very good medical facilities, non AC ,4seater ,single seater ac ,there were these types of options for hostel , obviously the fee varied ,over all hostels were good
Admission
I didn't applied in any other colleges although my friends who are studying in other tier 3 college are struggling to grab an internship I got offer to a very big product company of india ,I'm grateful chitkara is like tier 2.5 if I have to give it a tier
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is fairly decent, roughly around 1:25–30, which allows reasonable interaction inside classrooms. Most faculty members are approachable, especially during working hours, after lectures, or before exams. If you are proactive and ask doubts, teachers are generally supportive, though a few are more rigid and exam-oriented. The faculty–student relationship is mostly professional, not overly strict. Some faculty members go the extra mile to help students with concepts, assignments, and even career guidance, while others stick strictly to the syllabus.
Night Life
The night life during our time we had strict timings to get into hostel by 12pm but lately the campus is open 24/7 and there are many good places like chitkara woods a very small park to sit and relax plus outside u will only find village
