I was interested in computers and coding with software development so i chose BCA in Vijaya college RV Road. It's located in the heart of the city and the campus recruitment are great. I scored 70% in II Puc and the admission process was very simple.
Course Curriculum Overview
BCA in Vijaya college has a really great faculty, specially the HOD Gundu Rao is very friendly and co-operative. Our teachers always helped us try something new. The course is of 3 years consisting of 2 projects (1 in 5th sem for 100 marks & another in 6th sem for 200 marks).
Internships Opportunities
IBM (10,000), INFOSYS (9,000), IGATE (15,000), Accenture (12,000) and many TOP MNC's. It started with 9000 pm as a base pay-scale but after negotiation and upon the skills of the candidate the package kept changing.
Placement Experience
There is a special team for Placements and a dedicated class called "PLACEMENT CELL". They provide placements to all the students of VDC untill they are appointed. They provide placements for 10 years for each student with just 250/- as registration fee, you get placement notifications for 10 years.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, Every year new scholarship programs are initiated for the 2B and lower than 2B certified candidates. SC/ST candidates are given 1st priority.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is something like 51/100 for boys and 49/100 for girls. Sports day are very well done for two days with just Rs. 10 for all event participation. Prizes are given on the Annual Day/ College Day. The college supports no political influence or racism.
