Remarks

The positive about that it is a good degree to pursue however the college is situated in a rural area hence students are not that much exposed to the society and they lack the confidence to face the world.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It's becoming more privatized and all students are hoping to get into government service. Though not many are interested in doing agribusiness due to lack of exposure. And also only few students pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience

2.5

There are varities of internships for coffee and tea training. There is also short tours and also an all India tour arranged to give students exposure to agriculture around the subcontinent. Personality development programs are also conducted.

College Events

2

There will be a orientation day program for the upcoming 1st years followed by a club inauguration function to initiate all the club activities like English literary club, hiking club etc. And Muthamizh vizha for 2 days will be so special. Followed by sports day, club day and hostel day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very feasible by even downtrodden people. Per semester the fees is around ten thousand only. Mess bill has to be paid every month around four thousand for boys and around three thousand for girls. Books and other materials may cost thousand per semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are being provided by the government for backward caste, Most backward caste, Scheduled caste, Scheduled tribes. Every year this scholarship is being awarded. Now the alumni association has also decided to offer scholarships.

Campus Life

2

Sports are being encouraged to maintain fitness in students. Yoga is also part of the curriculum. Lab facilities are not upto the mark for research purposes. But all the basic amenities will be provided.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

New hostel have now been constructed for boys inside the campus. For girls there has been sufficient accomodation and hence no worries about that. Food may not be that much convincing in taste. Only south indian styled food will be provided.

Alumni/Alumna

It's been newly started and they have also planned to help out students and also offer scholarships to deserving students of the campus. Gathering of information about all the alumnus is being done currently.

Admission

Have to apply online for agriculture councelling to TNAU. Then they will prepare merit list based on your cumulative marks in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology. After that online councelling will be conducted.

Faculty

3.5

They are not very friendly and do not offer proper guidance to the students. Though curriculum wise they offer the best teaching to the students, they don't really go along the students to support them not only in academics but also in other activities.
