Awesome festivals and events and nearby locations like Krishna Temple.

Buses are crowded if missed you have to wait for long
Only few hangout locations nearby/immediately out of campus

Course Curriculum Overview

Since college is now autonomous institute so course curriculum is now more industry aligned. Project based learning is taken. They also teach about Industrial simulation tools like MATLAB. Guest lecturers are done.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like MSEDCL, Maha metro, etc offers intership. College also provide placement training(including aptitude). For pratical experience college conducts PBL(Project based learning). Placement head of Department offers guidance everytime.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fee is about 1 lacs, since I get scholarships so I need to pay around 58,000. Scholarship for tution fee is available and can apply from MAHADBT portal. Financial aid is also available for hostel.

Campus Life

Malhar festival is organised here every year along with cultural activities.Social group like NSS are proactive, there are clubs like Google developers group(GDG) and electrical department has TESLA i.e. Department's club, college also has swimming pool which can host state level competitions.

Admission

I specially choose this college because of its huge campus area. It has A+ NAAC Accreditation, and cut-off is not too high to get in, classes size is normal not crowded, guest lecturers are organised here. Clubs like Google cloud developer are here.. campus is green and peaceful.

Faculty

Faculties here are highly qualified and supportive. One teacher/mentor is for 17-20 students. Exam difficulty level is moderate and practice tests are usually taken every one or two months. Electrical department have its own library along with college's.

Night Life

Since college is located near Bopdev ghat it has Scenic Point, students play in turf, football court, huge ground to gather together to chill, 24/7 open library and reading hall for students. Campus looks more scenic at night.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

The college is excellent because there are numerous facilities available such as experienced staff members and a wide range of instruments such as HPLC, HPTLC, UV, IR, and others. the college has good infrastructure, including a large library with nearly 6000 books and a campus with WI-FI .there are three research labs for PG students, and the college has its own licensed animal house. In addition, the teaching staff has a Ph.D.
