Remarks
Overall i would say that gvic has friendly environment inside the college but yet to be developed in terms of placements and job opportunities and also the alumni network has to be developed. The hostel facilities are to be maintained hygenic.
Entrance Preview
I have taken ICET exam .This exam is based on quantitative aptitude, english, reasoning and general awareness. The exam is for a total of 200 marks. There is no negative marks.This is a state level exam conducted in andhra pradesh. I got a rank of 3006. from my friends and family i got to know that gvic is good for MBA which i am very passionate about.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is pretty for the welcoming for a fresher into management. There are four semesters. Each semester has 7 subjects with two case studies. The case studies are the ones which gives a real case scenario which makes the students understand the real life situations and how to deal with them.
Internships Opportunities
The final semester includes project work and 3 subjects. The college does not provide internship. Students have to finish their project works outside the college.
Placement Experience
The placements were really less in number. Only three companies visited the campus and hired only 30 out of 300. These companies are not mncs but were local. The job opportunities were not great students have to choose for themselves. But one good aspect about the college is that they train the students to face the interviews and help to face the industry and make them confident and bold.
College Events
Each semester a nation wide ppt is conducted for which the students were called from all corners of the state and country. A part from it we have debates,quizzes and just a minute programmes. Regarding the culturals each year annual day is celebrated as a big feast.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is actually feasible. per year the fee is 40,000 which can be paid in two installments for economically low candidates scholarship is provided by the state government. But the students should have the eligible criteria for it. From the college side, no scholarship is awarded even for the bright students. This is actually disheartening the bright students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college does not provide any kind of scholarship to the students. But for the students who got very nice rank in the icet exam, concession in the tution fee is provided.The rate of concession depends on the icet rank caste and the management.
Campus Life
Campus life is always jolly and holy. Students enjoy their subjects and have a full fledged entertainment in the eve times.The gender ratio is at 2:3 ,i think the gender ratio is maintained at a decent level. Parties happen very frequently, be it the birthday parties, quizzes, jolly games. There is no discrimination in race, sex, ethnicity. There are no politics at all . Overall it is very friendly and peaceful environment in the college.
Hostel Facilities
Coming to the hostel i am not at all satisfied with what they are providing. The hostel rooms are not properly segragated. It is actually dormitories where students are packed in tight. The safety of the things is left to the students and we must be caref
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is yet to be framed and development. It is still in the baby stages. Students do not have proper network once they leave the college. So the management has to take steps in order to improve the alumni network. I can't remember any incident with my seniors or alumni.
