My college review

My overall review of this college is positive. It provides an excellent environment to a student to accomplish his goals. Institute provide all types of facilities needed for a good career. Though it lacks in some aspects but it is improving every year.

Course Curriculum of NIT BHOPAL consist of Bachelor in Technology for CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CHEMICAL AND MSME. Others programs offered are MCA, M.TECH, MBA.Exams are conducted semester wise and there are two semesters in an academic year.

This college has excellent placement record and every year over 80 percent of students are placed in different companies. The only problem is most companies are branch specific so you have to choose your branch carefully. Some famous MNCs that visit for campus placement are Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, Goldman sacs etc. Internship opportunities are also good and many students get PPOs after internship.

Every year college celebrates a large number of events. Technosearch is technical fest of NITB which is Central India's largest tech fest and is celebrated in the month of October. Maffick is the cultural fest of NITB which is celebrated every year in month of March. Besides this many other events take place every two or three weeks.

Fee structure of NIT BHOPAL is somewhat complicated and it is according to the rules of Central Government. The fee structure is different for students belonging to different income group. Tution fee od SC and ST students are exempted. Hostel and mess fee are paid separately and is quite affordable.

After getting admission in the institute that come under central goverment you can easily get a loan from the bank. Relaxation in the tution fee is given to students of SC/ST communities and to the students belonging to economically weaker sections. Also many state goverment scholarship are available which can be easily checked on Internet.

Nit Bhopal is famous for its extracurricular activities. There are a number of socities and clubs operating in the campus which give student an environment to gain a lot of skills. Labs are just okay. Instruments are available but may not in working condition. Sports facility is very good in campus and there is seperate sports complex. The various sports played here are Cricket, Football, Badminton etc.

Yes I am a hosteller and there are total of 11 hostels in the campus including one for girls. These hostel can easily accomdate around 3500 students. Mess facility is provided by administration. Infrastructure of old hostels is OK but newer hostels are equipped with every facilities.

Alumni network of the institute is also very good. Students are placed in top MNCs and help their juniors to get placed in their companies. Network between juniors and seniors is also good. Seniors help juniors in every section of their academic career.

Admission in Nit Bhopal are given on JEE ranks which is an exam conducted by NTA twice a year. After getting suitable rank you have to apply for the college through counselling process and after selection you have to physically get all documents verified by college administration.

The faculty of college is quite good and they also posses high quality of knowledge. There are permanent as well as contract faculty and each deparment has one HOD or Head of Department who looks after all the activities occurring in department.
