Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to go in the hospitality industry that motivated me to choose this course For real world applications I would say that I learnt and applied those cooking and serving techniques in my own home and it helped a lot There should be more of the practicals and less theories Exam comes every 2 months and the exam doesn't feel that hard to me as I do good preparation.
Internships Opportunities
Taj, Oberoi, Sheraton and Leela, roles were as an executive and MT with stipend of 2-5k and 20k for MT Our work at internship was to assist in the hotel operations and learning them on the go. The outcome is that we are able to handle the operations after internship
Placement Experience
From 7th semester people become eligible for campus placements. Taj, Oberoi, Sheraton were the top companies visited. The highest package was 8LPA and average is 5LPA. 100% Students are getting placed through college.
Fees and Financial Aid
1.25 lakhs average per year. My class mates most paid the same and few paid 525000 I didn't get to know about any merit during my admission. Later I got to know few were given aid of some amount who were not able to pay full fees
Campus Life
We celebrate Ganesha and Basant Panchami along with farewell and freshers day The library gives us wide range of books of every department of different authors The college provides us with a sports and gym room and we participate in various inter and intra competitions Yes there are various groups clubs formed in our college related to HR, marketing and also rotary clubs
Admission
I got to know about an alumni of this college that the bhm here is really good and you should go there for the UG. I applied to another college but I chose this college for my studies. We can simply come to college with required documents and fees rest is taken care and helped by the admission staffs
Faculty
1:16 is the ratio. The relationship between us is friendly and they also respond to our messages during off time. I feel Vishnu sir is the best faculty as he teacher very well and beyond average knowledge and affairs. There are 3 exams each semester and they are easy to solve with some preparation.
Night Life
We have 2 cafeterias near to our college and a little further is a gym Girls hostel closes by 8 and Boys hostel closes by 9 pm sharp. There's a place called sapthagiri where we hangout, it's a student area full of food stalls and outlets
