Remarks

The college is a very good college with good fecilities and infrastructure. The campus is ecofriendly beautiful.The extracurricular activities are going very well as the curricular activities. The campus is also ragging free.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is a four year course with eight semesters at the end of each semester you will have to attend for university exam. You need to pass all exams for obtaining the graduation certificate.there are about a total of 56 subjects in this course.

Placement Experience

The placements are good. There are many companies approching the college for our students.Approximately about 200 students are placed in all companies in each year.The college is also providing intership fecility in well known companies.

The college is celebrating many events.In each year all department celebrate symbosium and also celebrate the south indian festivals like onam , pongal etc. Also the college celebrate festivals like holy

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible because our college providing good fecility at a feasible range of fees.For mechanichal engineering the tution fees for one year is only seventy thousand.This fee is very feasible.

For economically and financially backward students the college is providing fees reduction and also special scholar ships. The college is also provide papers for education loans at low interest rates.

Campus Life

The extracurricular activities are going very well as the curricular activities. The college have well equipied lab with all new ge eration technologies. The college is also supports on students who are good in sports.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students very friendly and also very much supportive they will help and support us for our dreams.They also give proper guidance. There is no ragging issues in our college.The campus is ragging free campus.

Admission

I got admission on merit quata based on mark basis of plus two. If you are a native of tamilnadu you will able to attend for councilling conducted by anna university for the admission in its affliated colleges.

The faculty are very supportive and helpful for moulding your career as an engineering. They will luctures you in a good manner and leads you in to success. They will lead you with proper guidance. With the help faculty you will achieve your success.

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is average over all. 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies are Tata motors, Tata steel, Nathcorp etc. The highest package is 6.5L and average is 3.5L as per profiles offered. 60-70 % students getting placements.

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass

The admission process was offline. forms has to be filled up which cost 1000rs as registration. application form is available on the main building of the college in 2nd floor.
