- The variety of classes available and the high tech computer labs.
- The faculty are good at teaching as well as maintaining order in the campus
Dislikes
- The food that provide there will sometimes be good but mostly be mediocre.
- Only the newest blocks have the most advanced and good infrastructure. The old blocks are basically run down
- There is almost never lenient correction in our exam papers
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum in the course I feel is not too overwhelming but at the same time not too underwhelming. The subjects are tough and the exam papers even tougher but with proper preparation and studying, i believe they can be overcome with ease. Also the management starts placement training from the first year itself which allows students to prepare for placement early on
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities in my college are vast tho I don't know all of them because I'm still in my first year of college and have not been necessarily interested in internships. But from my seniors i learned that the management pays money to international companies and MNC's to visit our college and hire students for internships so that they can have a better opportunity of getting a high placement.
Placement Experience
According to my college official website, so far in this year, the students here have got over 3000 placements by March and the number keeps growing. They don't specifically share the exact amount the students are placed for but the highest this year so far is 43.5 LPA. And this has been consistent over last few years.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise tuition fees for me in 3 lakhs 45 thousand rupees. There was no admission fees for me when joining. Aside from this, there is placement fees which was 14 thousand 500 rupees. For CSE with specialization in AI/ML, the college charges around 4 Lakhs tuition fees.
Campus Life
The college follows a strict and non flexible timetable with college starting at 9 and ending at 3:15 with 5 hour lectures and 15 mins break time between 11 and 11:15 and a late lunch at 1:15 - 2:15. The library is massive containing books of every variety tho I haven't explored all of it yet. There are also lots of events conducted by students as well as management happening constantly. The clubs here are various and wide and I am yet to be enrolled in one
Admission
I did not specifically have any college in mind whilst choosing this college. Firstly I tried for vit via their entrance exam and when I couldn't get a seat in the course I wanted, my family especially my sister who is 3 years older than me and studying in hindustan suggested Sathyabama college. So after some researching, my parents admitted me in this college
Faculty
Most of the faculty are friendly and helping when it comes to their teaching subject. Even if you approach them, they would be more than happy to help you. Aside from this, there are a few exceptions who teach only from their already created PDFs and their teaching method is also not very good
Night Life
I am a day scholar and don't hang around college at night as by bus, it takes me over 1 hour and 30 mins to reach college so I only go during lectures and not during night as because the distance is too vast between my house and my college. But from my hostel friends i heard that the college doesn't allow you put after 6 pm to ensure safety of the students.
