SRMUAP - a student’s perspective

The curriculum is very well designed, though may not be the best but very beginner friendly for new comers with little to no experience, the timing of the exams are manageable and difficulty is easy to moderate occasionally being hard.

Students are required to compete a summer internship after their fourth semester , the university brings many opportunities students can also try on their own out side to get opportunities and even entrepreneurial internships are encouraged

Students become eligible after their fifth semester for campus placements Both product based like PayPal and service based like tcs , ltimindtree and Infosys came for placements According to my current knowledge the highest package in our batch is 45lpa and average is around 5-7lpa

I have paid three lakh twenty five thousand every academic year and the scholarships are based on srm-jee ranking, you have to maintain the stipulates Cgpa to continue the scholarship . The total fees to complete the course is 1300000 and it's increasing with every year .

The cultural and annual fests are great on the campus , they are typically held in the even semesters of the academic year . The facilities and tech provisions are also great in the classrooms , there are so many technical and extra curricular student run clubs

Hostels are really great and well maintained , they almost look some star hotels , every room gets its own attached washroom there three four five six and ten sharing rooms Mess food is average at most of the times

I never particularly chose various colleges , I chose this because it's close to my hometown and can be accessible to me . I did not get any rejections cause I didnt apply anywhere else The admission process is simple , qualify srmjee , book the seat during the counselling session and pay the full fee later

There is one faculty mentor for every ten to fifteen students. They interact with student on weekly basis and get updates and guide us . Some of the faculties can be very strict but they do have their reasons and some are just mean without any reason. There is one midsem exam and one end sem along with CLA's for internal assessment

The night life on the campus is very bright and happening , people like to hangout near the cafeteria spots and garden sitting areas , Alamo many plays sports during this time but everyone should return back to rooms by nine pm and no one is allowed outside gates without prior permission
